people spend THEIR money on what they like.. having a nice car brings about balance? how so? high car note and insurance.. a cars purpose is to get you to from point A to B... as long as its reliable, and you can perform 80% of the maintenance, trust me thats all you need.. 90% of people run out to get nice/expensive cars to impress others, and most cant afford the bills that come with them. i'll gladly spend 7k on a old honda, and drive and maintain that, while spending my money on other things that i truly enjoyHave you seen some of the cars these "sneakerheads" be driving around in. I don't know how it is in SoCal, but 'round here the kids you see lined up for the "hottest" sneaker are the ones hoppin out of a '96 Civic or Ford Escort. All that $$ they dropped on sneakers and they couldn't even get a decent whip. No balance in consumerism whatsover

I didn't really grasp the point of his post either. To me it just sounded like a bunch of haterism.people spend THEIR money on what they like.. having a nice car brings about balance? how so? high car note and insurance.. a cars purpose is to get you to from point A to B... as long as its reliable, and you can perform 80% of the maintenance, trust me thats all you need.. 90% of people run out to get nice/expensive cars to impress others, and most cant afford the bills that come with them. i'll gladly spend 7k on a old honda, and drive and maintain that, while spending my money on other things that i truly enjoy

obviously. plain and simple, buy what you like.Talking about how people handle their money is like talking abou politics and religion. It will always be an argument with a bandwagon of opinions.
Chiiiiiiil.
has anyone ever done a paypal transaction with someone overseas when selling shoes if so please pm me i have a few questions
you're speaking too much truth, let these cats keep flipping these shoes like this and think they don't have to pay taxes.local guy wants 3650 on Ebay. I asked him about cash meet-up, 3500? Does this genius not realize that you're gonna get 10% ebay fees, 2.9% paypal fees, and then not to mention taxes at the end of the year? i might as well pay the full 3650 to teach you
I message him back 2K, to which he says "****, the h/o local is 3400 cash?"
i love listening to sellers make up fake offers.
its really no argument that can be made, but its not about "needing" high end anything shoes, electronics, clothes, cars etc... all are "wants"... im simply stating of our wants, we spend in accordance to what we personally deem important to us.. we shouldn't criticize someone on how they choose to spend their money on their wants..You are 100% spot on about the car. Make the argument for needing $500-$3500 on a pair of shoes.
Paypal doesn't report you to the IRS unless you sold over 20k AND 200 transactions. You could flip quite a bit before reaching that. When I sold most of my Jays years ago, I was over 20k but under 200 transactions, so paypal didn't snitch me outyou're speaking too much truth, let these cats keep flipping these shoes like this and think they don't have to pay taxes.
for answering a couple questions lol ill just call paypaldoes that person get commission from your sale?
the biggest diffrence betwen a car and this pack is I can find a car for below MSPR and possibly invoice and I am not paying more then that. to get this pack you have to pay 10xRetail to get these shoes.its really no argument that can be made, but its not about "needing" high end anything shoes, electronics, clothes, cars etc... all are "wants"... im simply stating of our wants, we spend in accordance to what we personally deem important to us.. we shouldn't criticize someone on how they choose to spend their money on their wants..
now on the backend.. if they're spending money, and their needs, and responsibilites are not being taking care for the sake of owning a pair of sneakers... than they are idiots.. and i believe thats what the original post was aiming for, but using a car as an point was not a good one..
spoken like a true "sneakerhead"

so...wait...just because there are 2 pairs in the pack justifies the $2500 price hike that dudes are paying via feebay?
i was being polite when i said 1k. "sneakerheads" will drop 3k on this pack easy
dont get it twisted bro, my beef isnt with retail price on the box, its with bonehead consumers that value a particular sneaker soooo much that they will drop 500-5k above retail for it? but like ol' boy said, its not my money...so whoever is willing to drop the $, knock yourself out. it will never be me, i promise you that.
