Wes again.
But PP came in before he did. Wes played 3 min in the first half.
Just all over the place
He plays wes with the starters to close it out but played wes 3 whole min in the first halfDoc senile man. Notice how this ***** finally gets the sense to play Wes with the starters in the 4th. Rotations sum sht
Pierce and Crawford played 12 minutes together tonight. They had a -47.9 NetRtg. They're now up to -12.3 in 351 minutes this year.
Prigioni-Crawford-Pierce have played 28 minutes together this season. They have a -26.8 NetRtg
We're 30 games in and Doc Rivers is still trotting out lineups with Pierce and Crawford together. To keep it a buck, crawford and pierce should be catching DNP's. We have too many players who can contribute to be playing those two guys. We've lost at least five games by playing crawford and pierce together and it's frustrating because IMO we don't have to play crawford and we SHOULD NEVER EVER EVER PLAY paul pierce.Coming into tonight's game, Jamal Crawford was 5-24 and hadn't scored in double figures in 8 straight games.
This....
Let me get my **** off though

Wesley Johnson is so vital to what we can potentially do from that 3 spot. THERE IS NO WAY ON THIS EARTH THAT GUYS LIKE CRAWFORD AND PIERCE GET IN BEFORE WES JOHNSON. It also makes no sense to play pierce and keep our best rim protector josh smith collecting DNP's.
I fear that we'll be at game 82 and still haven't figured out these rotations and it's dooming us now, and it'll doom us in the playoffs as well. Oh and Lance Stephenson played 2 minutes with the core four. 2. I'm ready to let doc go man this is ridiculous.
Bring bike Vinny D?
VDN did just as much, with less talent if you wanna be real.
Sometimes, it's on the players and not the coaching
^^^ And Doc's been at the helm of two epic chokes in the playoffs. I'm honestly not sure what's worse.

I've addressed this but no, he did not. If you want to say neither of them advanced to the WCF then fine but if you want to act like those VDN teams were as good as these teams then you are wrong. VDN made the second round once and got swept in 4 blowouts
Come on cuh. Were you not in the thread last year? Everybody in here blamed the players for the loss. Im sure you were at the game 6. It was plain to see Blake wanted nothing to do with the ball in the fourth.
But you're right. That's why NBA Teams have been lining up to sign VDN since he got fired
Do you not remember VDN benching DJ for entire fourth quarters in the playoffs? This whole thing started because someone said we should bring VDN back. Regardless if you want to blame the players, do YOU want VDN back?

Of course I don't want him back
It's funny you would rather lose up 2-0 than up 3 and 12 minutes-1 (not that really means anything though, outcome still the same)
But I also think that he would do just as good as Doc with the way this team has been constructed.
I'm not a fan of DJ, so I don't think sitting him really effects the team negatively. He's only good at catching lobs and setting screens. His defense is hella overrated IMO
I'm an advocate of shaking things up and this isn't a championship level roster, whether you guys wanna admit or not... So something needs to be done or its gonna be another 3 or 4 seasons of disappointment and watching warriors, Spurs, and other teams win.
All of this, especially the underlined.Yeah, like Shoeking and erupt, I'm not optimistic about this season anymore, but I also don't see the point on pulling the trigger on a blockbuster trade now. Teams that trade core pieces during the season don't compete for titles. Only way we'd be better off with a midseason trade than we are now is we were able to get an all-star for basically nothing, like the Lakers did with Pau. (Yes, I realize Marc was included in that deal, but it took years for him to get good after he went to Memphis). Otherwise, if we trade a key piece, we'll have too much catching up to do in terms of continuity and chemistry to complete with the Spurs or Warriors, etc. So, I think we need to just ride this season out, accept our probable post-season L and look at major roster and COACHING changes in the Summer.
And, honestly, I think we do have a championship level roster in terms of talent. But it needs to be managed well and Chris and Blake both have to play at a very high level all post-season. No lapses like last year. Like shoeking and erupt said, looking very unlikely right now that things will come together like that this year. But, again, I don't think a major mid-season trade is going to put us any closer to true contention, so sticking with this group and hoping Doc finally figures out how to get the most out of them is the way to go.
Blake out two weeks.
****. Season from hell continues
