What do think about the Morris trade?

My dawg, the future finals MVP PG took 11 3's tonight.

Clips 14-3 when he takes 10 or more.

Him playing playoff level minutes should easily get him to that threshold. Took 9 a game in 29 minutes. Best non steph / klay shooter in the league. With his shooting ability, size, and ball handling, I really think he should be bombs away.

and the Clippers are still blowing teams out with him and the other 4 starters on the floor

The moment he sees even a tiny bit of positive regression LAC blows it out the water.

The moment he regained his eyesight he became good again. Clips been blowing teams out with him on the floor since he's been a Clipper, and part of his struggles were really because he was missing open shots. Game changer that over the past 5 games or so he's started to make shots

He hasn't been a ball hog or anything. Been great, and was great tonight.

Moe Harkless, who I loved, did not have that type of game in him.

Clips can make some adjustments defensively, but this a historic offense. Especially without Bev.

There's only so much they can do. They definitely can make some adjustments, but they really just gotta be better offensively. They played the Mavs even from the moment Lou got in to the end. An average PG game wins this IMO.

Reggie Jackson is losing all the goodwill he's built with me but he really isn't a starter. Pat Bev's injury hurts.

Doc had a really bad game as well.

I know that Dallas has a great offense, but I definitely think we can play better defensively. Luka getting his is one thing, but we got cooked by Trey Burke and a lot of that was just on iso stuff. Just have to be better and more disciplined.

Also, because they’re so good offensively, Mavs are just a bad team to get off to a slow start against. I’d like to think that we’re not going to start a game 1-9 or whatever too often.

He honestly shouldn’t be playing this series. This really isn’t his series. Poor at protecting the rim, doesn’t floor space which is kind of necessary given Dallas’s size with KP and Bobi.

should be a lot more Zu Morris and JaMychal at the 5. Wayyy too much Trez especially given he just got back two games ago.

part of why I told erupt that imo, doc coached a really really bad game last night. The no Zu in the 4th and most of the 2nd half is just dumb.

I said yesterday even before the game began that Pat Bev being out dramatically reduced the clips margin for error

the domino effect that his absence has is HUGE and it’s something most wont see

you obviously miss his intensity, but you also miss his scoring, rebounding, and playmaking. And when he’s out, it forces people to play up rotation and minutes wise, which creates potentially really dumb lineups that we saw last night.

Boban had 13 and 8 boards points in 9 minutes last night and I believe it was all against Trezl and JAM. After the first couple buckets, why not bring in Zu or even Noah? Doc really was kind of asleep at the switch last night.
