OFFICIAL LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 2024-2025 SEASON THREAD

I never enter team threads, but said this in the main NBA thread: Intuit looks awesome! Ballmer took the KeyArena approach and built a steep lower bowl, putting the crowd on top of the game. I also heard they put in a million bathrooms so people can get back to their seats quicker, and there's no audio or video in the concourses, so people need to be in their seats.

Love it.

havent been there but all of thoe seem to be true, the arenas main focus is the game

heard food also isnt great on purpose so people go back to their seats and watch the game

I didn't even realize that there aren't any tv's in the concourse :lol. My favorite things about the arena were:

-USB C charging ports in the seats came in clutch for me
-Face recognition technology was smooth as hell
-the halo board is huge. I had to keep myself from watching the whole game through the board
-if you buy a souvenir cup, you get free refills on all non-alcoholic drinks
-the bridge from the parking lot to the arena
-you actually get phone service in there. I had full bars there unlike staples where I never had service :lol

My brother went to a concert at Intuit last month and really liked it as a music venue.

His only gripe was with the app-based entry and concession system, but he’s one of those “what about my privacy?/big brother is watching” types. But he’s not too worried about it because he said he’d absolutely to more concerts there

Yesssssssiiiirrr!! I was there last night and it was as amazing as advertised! 1 of the biggest take away from my experience was that the court felt very intimate. I was sitting in sec 12 row 17 and they were great seats but felt like I was much closer to the court than I actually was. The Wall was very cool to see in person as well. The cashless/transaction less aspect was really cool too. Just grab and go, then invoice later. The tech was far above anything I've experienced. Although the stadium was somewhat empty due to the Chargers playing at SoFi at the same time and also playing The Jazz, I really can't wait to see what it would look like and feel during a playoff game. Hats off to the Greatest Owner in Sports, Mr. Ballmer!

ty's line up is at times

these dudes are standing up well to currys barrage and he takes out 3 of the starters

and i get it mann got relegated to the bench for dunn but why is kpj coming off the bench before him?

and mann was doing well in the first half too

and as i typed this kpj easily got picked on a crossover :smh:

As I’ve said before, the KPJ situation is just weird. I can’t remember any other young player under Ty who was given as much leeway with mistakes/poor play as KPJ is. Sure, he does some good things now and again, but I think Bones, Brown or Miller would too if they go the same minutes and opportunities to play with starters.

Norm’s been hooping this season; awesome to watch and has a case for the All-Star Game so far…BUT when he has to dribble more than a few times on a possession, things have a tendency to get dicey

Marcus Morris circa 2022.

But yea, KPj sucks. He'd so much better if teams stopped trying to make him a poor man's Harden.

T mann been playing well lately :hat

kawhi please
