Read some stat today that showed how the dodgers are outscored in innings 1-2 by a mile. Makes sense since Buehler and Miller were guaranteed to give up 3 runs in the first 2 innings :lol:

Now they’re blowing up the story of manny throwing the ball “hard” towards Dave Roberts :lol:

I know **** can happen anywhere and that Arcadia is still LA, but it would not be high on my list of places where I’d predict a pro athlete would get robbed in broad daylight.

The rest of this series are legacy and reputation defining games for Dave Roberts, Mookie Betts, and any core player that’s been on this team over the last 5 years or so. Especially anyone who was part of the 2022 and 2023 meltdowns.

Championship teams face adversity and rise to the occasion. If you want respect, earn it on the field. If they’re tired of all the dominate the regular season but fold in the playoffs, Mickey Mouse Covid ring, October choker narratives. They gotta earn their respect on the field.

I don’t know what the pulse is in that clubhouse. But if behind the scenes they feel disrespected. Not just from the Padres, but from the sports media and whoever else. The next 2-3 games are their opportunity to shut alot of people up.

Almost positive all the trolling and showboating to the fans pissed them off. You can see in the Manny video how pissed off Teo was. And he's always happy.

These are all our FA. Teo and BlaQ are no brainers. Pick up Barnes and Rojas option. Everyone else can go. Definitely need a younger SS. Rojas can't survive 162 games.
