I've been running this back during commercials and going over it in slow mo. Here's what I've got so far!
Charlie's hand said, "THEY NEED YOU"
The picture on the wall was a pic of a dog. Kinda looked like a bloodhound.
"Jacob" or the man sitting in the rocking chair was wearing a suit and tie (Jack's dad perhaps?)
That was not Locke's eye.

i have made a pact with myself to not speculate on what is happening and just enjoy the show.
because most of the time i and everyone else just ends up looking like an idiot trying to reach for clues and whatnot.

My guess is that with Jack saying that they need to go back and Charlie saying that they need them is that the people who stayed behind with Locke are nowfighting with the people from the copter. In other words the people from the copter prob. brought over other folks and they are now the "others", inthe sense that they are an enemy to Locke and his people.
They prob. got the six of the off the Island with the promise that they not say anything about anyone surviving or what the Island actually contains. Theyprob. realize that Locke and his people are fighting a losing war against these new "others" and need to go back to help them.
They were brought to the Island ( by the Island itself? It has been eluded to that the Island has powers) in the first place prob. because they were meant tobe it's caretakers against real hostiles like the people from the ship.
