This one hurt dog. We all have those certain artists, albums, songs that defined a period of time in our life. Being the same age as him, High life, KIDS, and BDE was end of high school and beginning of college for me.

Listening to that joint right now. That’s the song that sold me on him when he first came out. You could tell he wasn’t some cornball, wannabe cat—he had actual mic skills and presence. Impressive for a dude who was 18 at the time.

Only 26, damn shame. I dig a lot of artists that have showed him love right now, cause it shows how many people really rocked with him. You never heard about him ****ting on anybody or getting into any beef or anything. I didn't listen to a whole bunch of his music, but every time I peeped some, I was never disappointed. Lucky *** ***** and Smoke & Drank on that Coke Boys 3 album were my favorites, along with some stuff on Watching Movies With The Sound Off. Thought his last album was pretty good, had a noticeably somber sound on it, but so many albums came out that night, it got lost in the shuffle. RIP to him. Never know what somebody's going through.
