Very poetic. Princeton pulls off the upset in Sacramento under head coach Mitch Henderson, who was the point guard for legendary coach, Pete Carril when they upset defending national champion UCLA in 1996. Carril left Princeton and went to the NBA where he was an assistant coach to Rick Adelman…in Sacramento.

That game quickly turned into a matchup we wanted no parts of when they couldn’t miss a shot. The refs were really consistent with calling the game loosely the entire time (I thought they did a great job of letting the guys play), which definitely limited our usual game plan.tmay407 sending love bro bro
