Official March Madness 2023 Thread

Penn St trying to juggernaut like they’re another football program shifting money to basketball.

If they come out hitting from 3 we have no shot. Our defense is completely built around defending the paint (16th in overall FG percentage, 85th in 3 point defense), and their offense is completely built around hitting the three ball (11th in percentage, 10th in attempts per game).

We’re outside of the top 200 in both FG percentage (212th) and 3 point percentage (270th). So if it becomes a shootout, we’re relying on points coming from the FT line (26% of our points this season). Need the refs to comply with calling tight games.

Gotta put a lot of faith in Marble and Coleman to actually show up on the inside and take advantage, which hasn’t happened in over a month.
Penn State 6/9 from three, A&M 32% from the field and 27% from three…only 5 FT attempts for A&M.

They came out hitting, and we have no chance.

All of you who were saying whoever’s style will get imposed in the first half were def on it. 16 points a lot, first 5:00 of second half huge.

Wouldn’t you be with them? 👀

Does Tennessee have a shot to beat Duke?

It would be amazing after all the **** I give Rick barnes, he beats the number 1 overall seed

That game quickly turned into a matchup we wanted no parts of when they couldn’t miss a shot. The refs were really consistent with calling the game loosely the entire time (I thought they did a great job of letting the guys play), which definitely limited our usual game plan.

Nasty work. So many other conferences deserving of multiple bids but the mountain west continues to prove they don’t belong.

SDSU had to claw its way to a victory against powerhouse *checks notes* College of Charleston

Sick of sympathy bids. Best 64 teams period.

Houston needs Shead and Sasser to heal up quick.

Or else Walker going to have to show his possible top 5 pick talent.

That and dumb turnovers gotta stop. A home game for Auburn gonna be tough.

Definitely didn’t think MD/Bama was gonna be the late game after they both played early yesterday.

Feel like you'd get more eyeballs if you moved Maryland-Alabama up to 7:10PM and moved Houston-Auburn to 9:40PM.
