**Official Meek Mill Thread****Dreamchasers IV Out Now**

If meek was creative and actually thought this **** out he knew enough to actually win. Its like once he heard the ref tracks he jumped the gun to get it out, u gotta be more strategic cuz u know u don't got the people. Let the cat out the bag via twitter cool, but have your record prepared for when he throws shots/diss record etc. I would've drew first blood, put out a club banger throwing jabs, had he been the aggressor he could've had control of the situation. He handled it *** backwards and the people are killing him right now. Unless he got the nas co sign that he got heat he need to fall back and let it die.

Still think they should've said rip meek mill, foreshadowing what was about to happen.

I'm not praying for Drake to lose. I don't like either rapper and too much damage has been done. Meek can't win this. All im saying is, he needs another song to win this battle in my book. It's a draw between BTB and WK.

The only way Meek could possibly win is if a video circulates of Drake getting DP'd by Safaree and Nicki, but with the current rap fanbase, that could still be a win for Drake

Doesn't matter who wrote it, it's a Drake feature... If he got the Quinton Miller Feature saying the same exact thing... It's no where near the same... Who are yall kidding? :lol

Them reference tracks showed why Quinton is writing and Drake is the star...

We could do the what-ifs all day, but Meek just not that smart of a dude bruh.  And from the way his camp acts and boosts him, they arent either.  None of that strategy ish was even in his playbook.

He grossly overestimated what he could do and his stature, and thought Drake just would back down.  He also let the reference track make him forget that Drake actually does write raps.  Better than him.   Now he's facing his fate.

Which makes me respect 50 even more, most people thought he was lashing out and picking people at random but now it looks like he picked everybody he beefed with carefully.  I know to this day he still doesn't understand why Rick Ross still has a career.

Rick Ross is still on because he stuck to his formula.  Ja let 50's disses shake him from what he was successful at.  50 really made Ja beat himself, the same way Drake is doing Meek.   Going to war is about strategy.

this plus who know's if he actually paid Drake for the feature. I know he alluded he doesn't need feature money but could also be in general

Not pay drake for a verse on your studio LP? You must be insane.

Yep.  Meek has every right to be upset.  But he handled it like a woman.  If he had so much of an issue, I KNOW he has Drakes number or could easily get it.  Or why not just stop working with him from then on.  Don't run to TWITTER of all things, especially when you dont have enough ammo to deal with the consequences.

Meek shoulda took that L and just stopped rocking with Drake if he felt so strongly about it.  He was feeling himself too much, wanted to try to flex and show how hard he was.  Which backfired terribly.

Like I said, it was mentioned that he did confront drake personally about it before going public. I can agree with you that you just take that as a lesson learned, no need to get chatty about it. But I can definitely see how if you feel like you just got robbed by this top tier rapper not giving you original material you would want to expose that person as a fraud. If somebody sold you some fake Jays you gonna make a post on NT telling everyone dude is selling fake Jays right?

We have to stop making excuses for bad behavior.  Meek is too old for anybody to be doing some maybe this or maybe that with him.  He did exactly what he wanted to do which was out Drake.  If that isn't what he wanted to do then he wouldn't have went to that much effort to secure the reference tracks before he called Drake out.

Now he's living with the consequences of his actions.  It was a miscalculation, it happens.  Grown men take L's everyday.  If he has any sort of character he'll come out of this a better person.

Of course he wanted to out him, thats not in dispute. The question is did he have a valid reason for wanting to out him? I say he did. Obviously his thought process, execution and competence was severely lacking but thats an entirely different issue.

srs question....

why do singers get passes for music they didn't write?

is it because having a singing voice is more of a talent than rapping some lines someone gave you?

I think that's exactly it...

I agree with you.  He shouldve wanted to expose him.  But life is about decisions.  You gotta weigh the pro's and cons.   I dont think the satisfaction of blasting Drake for giving him that RICO song is worth what Meek is going through right now.  Sometimes in a Lose-Lose situation, you gotta just stick with the smaller L

He's not lying when he says that Ar-Ab line and it just goes to show meek could rap bout anything towards drake but yet he brought same **** no one wanted to hear
