I moved to GA from Baltimore in Jan of '07. Also to Gwinnett (Lilburn/Lawrenceville) and dudes were rockin filas, af1 fake bape, coo gi, dope boy magic hoodies, girbauds...basically everyone looked like soulja boy.
They thought I was a goth or something cuz I was rocking small famous stars and straps tees with trues, antiks, Rock & repub, vans, Nike boots, foamposites and wallet chains lol.
True story. And almost nobody I met in GA knew about dipset outside of cam and maybe Juelz at the time..... which confused me because "ballin" was hot such a huge record.
I remember being stunned they weren't up on JR writer lol.

Wayne had an impact but it was to people who ain't really know **** about banging. He's one of the people that made ok to false flag. He opened the door for dudes like Chris Brown to claim this and that. If banging is something you're born into I get it but I don't understand why these famous dudes decide to start flagging out the blue.
