Official Mitchell and Ness Thread: Jerseys, Hats, Shirts, Shorts, Questions POST EM UP

They are swingman, show me an “authentic” hof jersey

I mean, they treat all the Kobe and Jordan jerseys like that. They don't make swingman . It's like when they made the gold series, and only the Jordan version was "authentic" materials

I don't really care for any of the fashion lines. To each their own. Just providing some context to the cash grab comment.

Just came in.

The 2000s indeed because of the jerseys being way too oversized with the length of them going way past their waists down to their knees giving them a dress on a male look. The other giveaway for peeps who have been into throwback stuff for a long time now is the way the NBA jerseys pictured were made based on just seeing them.

I can't believe a lot of us on here are guilty of dressing like that during the 2000s. I ain't going to lie because I've reiterated on here a lot that I did it too. K kingjay718 basically provided accurate pictures of how I dressed that decade. 😆🙄

On a serious note, Mitchell & Ness needs to rehash that royal blue Nets Drazen Petrovic jersey because I haven't seen those since the 2000s. They made the sky blue one during the last decade and I got it last year, but I prefer the royal especially since the Nets had brief relevancy wearing those until Petrovic died in 1993. I actually got the white Nets Petrovic jersey off eBay but it was way too big and turned yellow, but I ended up getting rid of it eventually in like 2013.

Funny how the trend went from 2 sizes too big to 2 sizes too small.

I recall my good friend's analogy when he said it's like when siblings had to share clothes where the younger brothers wore the older brothers' clothes so that's why they were oversized, but now it's basically the opposite looking like the older brothers are wearing the younger brothers' clothes so that's why they're smaller and tight on them.

These are awful if they will look like this. Way too small. Takes away from what made just don special. These are just Mitchell and ness made shorts with his name slapped

that's exactly what they have always been tho :emoji_sleeping:

 same. It’s a really dope jersey though.

Nothing against that community. But I already attract gay men as it is. I’m good.

is that right? i heard a lot of the male performers are actually on the DL :emoji_thinking:

That purple dino VC jersey is the only m&n jersey I own, mainly due to sizing. I know this was just talked about the other day. It's a 44 and I feel like it's too big, but I'm almost positive a 40 will be too tight

go with the 44 and then take it to a tailor to get adjustments

Time for me to post this Lakers Kareem Abdul-Jabbar jersey I got during the summer for a real good deal since they won their 17th title. It's the first time I have a Kareem jersey since the 2000s because I used to have a royal blue 1980s NBA All-Star Game screen-printed jersey that was way too oversized that I eventually sold at loss.

I noticed it's been years since Mitchell & Ness made Kareem jerseys and a Pro Image franchisee at a local mall told me they regained his rights within the last few years after losing it.

I was curious why this purple jersey is a 1983-84 version because Lakers lost to Celtics in the NBA Finals that season. So I did research and learned it was also the season that Kareem broke the NBA all-time scoring record.

I just need a yellow Kareem jersey to complete my '80s Lakers collection because I already have both colors of Magic Johnson.

Here's pictures I took of Kareem at a Dodgers game on July 4, 2018 that I attended. I moved down to a 5th row seat that was usually empty in that section and he was in the section to my left that day!
