Put a piece of solid white printer paper over top and gently go over it with the tip of hot iron. It’s important to use actual printer paper and nothing with blue lines ect… and only use the tip of the iron, don’t put the whole iron over it

I put a wet towel over the number and ironed that on Low heat with high steam. Kept the iron moving. Seems to have worked.
