Hows the sizing on this specific kobe jersey

I had the rookie kobe in both home and away...

I returned because a XL is small on me...

Especially around the arm pits


I found a XXL in the jersey in the picture i posted..is there a small/big difference in this specific jersey compared to the rookie jersey?

I would go XXL. I’m normally an XL but they fit pretty snug. Especially armpit area like you mentioned. Went XXL and fit perfect.

It really is a toss up. I'm in the same boat as you. I want one of those jerseys but don't know which to pick. If I was to lean towards one I'd probably do the 98 ASG because of that patch. I'm a sucker for the gold 50th anniversary logo but I can get that on a pair of away Lakers shorts if I want.

I understand about trying to be different, but this is just asinine. Having Big Bird placed on there as a play on Larry Bird isn't creative at all. Jayson Tatum is just an a%$ clown for this one.

in the late-'80's--'90's such the Bulls shirts and DreamTeam shirts...

Well this was one of the first of those if not the first of that type...

Also, while Kareem is taller than Larry...

I actually recall those t-shirts with drawings of players with larger heads. Yes they were prevalent in the late '80s to early '90s and have disappeared since. And I don't recall the company who made those either.

Now I was never aware those t-shirts of Larry Bird existed.

some of the early hof baseball shirts even had the original cc jock tag on the front...

Ive posted my collection before but I’ve been on a mission to find a fitted for every one of my jerseys. (Not a fan of snap backs) but it’s definitely tougher finding one to begin with or in my size. These are the ones I have as of now. Too many to post of my Lakers though lol.

It's frustrating to a lot of us that Mitchell & Ness hasn't used the traditional mesh material with larger air holes for the authentic NBA jerseys since the 2000s.

I really don't get why they currently only use that mesh material to manufacture the earlier era Bulls Michael Jordan jerseys that are screen-printed, but they don't use it for the Bulls jerseys that were stitched in Jordan's latter years and also all the jerseys that were made with that way from the '80s to early 2000s.

That mesh material is definitely more accurate to what the players wore on court and more durable too. It also looks nicer.

I want to assume they're trying to maximize reducing overhead by using that cheaper material with smaller holes that have been dumped on us for years now.
