from personal experience, the waistband IS NOT forgiving AT ALL.

There is FAR less give in the waistband than my other shorts. If you are stretching out the waist in other pairs I’d definitely size up.

And may I also recommend an inside velcro pocket behind the bear for keys/wallet.
