The most well rounded team in the NL West is the D'Backs, 2-4 is a crapshoot.  Never said the Giants are not going to compete, but you make them seem like they are a lock for the top 2 spots in the West.  They are not.

The Giants had the worst offense in modern day baseball, including the dead ball era, for a repeating WS champ....all the while they led the west for 85% of the season and were in it till the last 2-3 weeks.....without Posey and Sanchez. So yeah, barring injury to their rotation, I think they still have a shot to compete. And this year there's slightly less pressure since they didn't win it.

You can kind of say these about any hard luck team last season.  Last year was a $!@@!% year down here in LA, no offense outside of Matt Kemp, and inconsistent pitching outside of Clayton Kershaw.  Why finish ahead of everyone, new ownership coming no later than April 30, looking to make a splash at the deadline.

Didn't do much in the off season, Giants didn't either.  Rockies have been a "let-down" the past two years, just can't get it together.

Stringer - Tigers finishing 4th, c'mon man!  Sox are rebuilding, Indians have more question marks than the Riddler, the Royals won't finish in the gutter, Twins will rebound.

The Orioles will suck on a monumental level. Buck will proly leave after the year after he realizes the team can't possibly be turned around...

I know what you're saying, but my point is, that we thought their run production in 2010 was atrocious and look where they got w. basic production and strong pitching?  Then, the following that already atrocious offense was blown out of the water by something I didn't even think was possible for non double-A MLB team, that's my point. They were still in it by scoring 1 run every 2 days.

Marlins are going to be the 2012 World Series champs, no other prediction is needed.

Reyes is going to get hurt a month into the season though and Hanley will continue his downward trend.

The one thing I hate about these threads is the homerism.

People on this board have no idea how to be impartial.

I like your ROY picks, even though they are the big name rookies this year.

Really curious to see the hype behind Yonder for a full season.

Braves have been so wishy washy with Teheran, gotta make a concrete decision.

Yonder will play perfectly in Petco I think. Same way Montero would use the whole park in Seattle.
