Martin and Rivera named as reserves.
CC and Tex didn't make it, CC wouldn't have pitched anyway but still. Ridiculous.
With the new HR Derby rules and captains, Papi (captain of the AL) has selected Tex to be on the team, waiting for Tex to say yes or no.

In a position like 1B it isn't ridiculous at all.. Teix is my dude... But it is all star voting.. Defense goes out the window.... And fans look at 3 things BA, HR, RBI's (stolen bases if it is a speedy guy but this is 1B)... AGon who I hate, is having a better year than Teix... And you can argue 2 or 3 people to be ahead of Teix....

That is why Teix is didn't make it.. Deservedly so...
Although I do think he was robbed of being in the final vote at least..

i havent heard anything about nova getting sent down, but i hope he doesn't. i doubt he does too, he's won his last 5 games

Nah you're right, just seems like Tex has the #'s to make it those 1st basemen, not starter worthy but good enough.
CC not making it is just stupid. And Robertson should have made it too...Best ERA in the AL, get K/9 ratio...smh
