My my, Jeter has done it

My timing could not have been any better today. I work in a pharmacy, and next door is a restaurant that has a t.v. available. I have a friend who works there, and I stepped out of the pharmacy to go in to see some of the game. As I get closer towards my friend and the t.v., I see that Jeter is up with a 3-2 count in the 3rd. I say out loud "I came in here at the perfect time. He's going to do it now." Sure enough, he hits the HR and I was standing there with the

-face. I couldn't have been happier that I left my pharmacy at the time I did. Seeing it live as it happened was worth everything.

Derek Jeter is the classiest player/man in the game, no one deserves it more than him. And to go 5-5, you just cannot make this stuff up.

Breaking out my Jeter jersey tonight for sure.

Many congratulations to the captain of the Yankees, Derek Jeter!
I grew up watching him play and rooting for him since the day I saw my first Yankee game.
This could not have been scripted any better. Tears even came to my eyes when I saw the homerun hit!
What a great day! One I shall never forget.

Not a baseball fan or Yankee fan and I'm from the Bronx but i seen DJ grow up as a player and this dude has blossomed into a true hall of famer with no doubt. His HR today solidified his clutch plays in his career and historic moments. The guy wins on the field and off the field with the ladies. Big ups to him and every NY fan on this board who love seeing him play.

Quick question, if you were the fan and you wanted to sell it what would you ask for? I would go with about 50k and season tickets for next year but I might be asking for too much
