T-Wolves lost their best player twice, and their starting PG, and a slew of other random injuries.

Lakers.. Unluckiest team this season...

For once the Blazers have been dethroned.

Timberwolves...Easily.

Steve Nash out 24 games
Steve Blake out 37 games
Dwight Howard torn labrum on top of trouble coming back from his back surgery
Pau Gasol plantar fascia tear out six weeks
Jordan Hill out for the season

First coach didn't work out
Second full-time coach hasn't worked out

We've been through 8 or 9 identities.

Players out of place, players out of practice, bad chemistry...

Just all out unlucky.

That's not "unlucky", that's called bad coaching.

Despite the injuries it's not like you lost Kobe. The lineups LA has had on the floor were good enough to win more games than they did.

Ha. And?

Just because Minnesota has better coaching doesn't mean you can attribute the Lakers poor play to being "unlucky." They still have their best player on the court for every game and they still roll out 3 all-stars in 90% of their games. Minnesota was looking at the 6-8 seed w/o all these injuries and a great improvement in the direction of their team. Lakers just flat out aren't getting it done and have underperfomed in every aspect. If anything, Minnesota is overacheiving right now even though they keep losing.

Amare has been beasting as of late, I love it. So many people have counted him out, glad I never did. He's clearly embraced the roll of coming out the bench - class act.

:lol :lol

Just realized that in the past three years Dwyane Wade's scoring average has gone down roughly 10 points per game.
