That's a stupid argument, fact is they stayed, put up record breaking numbers, were All Americans and NPOY's.

In the modern era (preps to pros era), Laettner is far and away the best college player. In fact, going back even further, he might be the greatest college player ever (Jabbar and Walton are in the discussion as well). Yet, he's still not in the Hall. Again, if he's not in, then nobody else should be discussed.

Are Tyler and JJ really that great though? If more talented players didn't go one and done wouldn't they shatter their college numbers?

Hansbrough is the leading scorer in ACC history, considering all the greats that have come through that conference, he was definitely great in college

How many of those greats stayed 4 years

but so? We're punishing players based on what other players DIDN'T do now?

You're right.

I was more so referring to the fact that the Lakers had as many turnovers in the 4th as they did the first 3 quarters.

The Heat were solid defensively for much of the game.

Laettner was not a better player than Hansbrough and not even comparable to Kareem or Walton. He had great performances in the tournament and of course the Kentucky game but outside of that, his numbers/accolades can't hold up with Hansbrough.
