Lakers are looking like a traveling circus' side show. This is going to be a HILARIOUS season following them
Princeton offense looks terrible for them. I'd be more content with Nash running the offense and "freestyling" it than this boring garbage we're seeing. The triangle with Gasol and Howard would've been AMAZING. Gasol would've feasted with all those looks he'd get from the elbow/baseline.
I'm calling it now--Mike Brown is getting fired or resigning after this season. Phil Jackson makes his 3rd comeback, because we all know this dude wouldn't come unless he has a "contending" team. ::Kanye Shrug::
The Triangle would be even worse for Steve Nash
I agree with you on that. We all know you don't need a great PG to run the Triangle, but this is horrible. I'm not convinced that the Princeton will "come around" once Lakers have chemistry.
They need to focus on being a physical defensive team (don't know how that possible with Nash on the floor) and try to feed the ball into Howard and Gasol. Let's face it, Nash is in the twilight of his career and he isn't the same player he once was 5 years ago. Dude lost a step or two and we will see that this season. They need to slow the game down and limit possessions.
If Lakers can play tough defense and slow the games tempo and cause havoc in the paint--They'll win 55+ games.
Now, only if they had a real bench i'd be worried if I was in the West.
EDIT: On a side note. This ***** Lamar Odom gained some weight! Looks like whatever weight Melo lost all went to Odom

I was the Thunder- Blazers game so I missed Harden dropping 45. I might have to download that game on itunes. As for OKC, both of the rookies got to score tonight which made the crowd superhappy as did Nick's dive to save a possession. I'm surprised nobody is talking about KD dropping Pavlovic with that crossover though

Lakers are done. Kobe playing hero ball doesn't equal a win anymore. Damn shame too, because Kobe still got it. He's not as fast or explosive as he once was, but he's still VERY effective. I guess that's what happens when you focus on fundamentals, footwork and jumpshooting as you get older.
What sucks is that ESPN will talk about how Lakers are 0-3 and briefly talk about the Knicks beating the Heat

well all 3 games they look bad, not saying like some of you that they suck but something is wrong, its the damn offense so idk but they couldnt beat the Bobcats with the way they are playing but then again the Bobcats have beat the lakers a fair amount of times over the last few years
