I'd say Kwame's had a better career that Olowokandi. He's become a solid post defender and has managed to stay in the league for a while because of that. Can't say the same for the Kandi man.

Crazy to think that the 96 (Todd Fuller, traded this pick then got it back), 98 (Vince Carter), 00 (Mike Miller traded) picks were sent to Orland in the Penny/C-Webb swapTodd Fuller pick still burns. lol. Just amazing how bad we were at drafting. Like you said, hindsight of course, but they would of had a better chance following a mock draft list rather than trying to do their own homework. Our drafting has been top notch in recent years. It has started to make me forget about blowing first round pick after first round pick in the past. Thats why we have been so bad for so long. Poor drafting.
Look at recent history (obviously a lot is hindsight, but when it happens so frequently, the benefit of the doubt should no longer be given):
1996: Todd Fuller (Could have had Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Jermaine O'Neal, Peja Stojakovic)
1997: Adonal Foyle (Could have had Tracy McGrady)
1998: Vince Carter who was traded for Antawn Jamison (Could have had...well...Vince Carter, Dirk Nowitzki, Paul Pierce)
1999: Jeff Foster who was traded for Vonteego Cummings (Could have had Jeff Foster, Andrei Kirilenko, Manu Ginobli)
2000: traded first round pick prior to draft for useless pieces
2001: Jason Richardson (No problem with this pick. The problem was with our other first rounder.)
2001: Troy Murphy (Could have had Zach Randolph, Gerald Wallace, Tony Parker,
2002: Mike Dunleavy (Could have had Amare Stoudamire, Carlos Boozer, Caron Butler, Tayshawn Prince)
2002: Jiri Welsch (Could have had Carlos Boozer, Tayshawn Prince)
2003: Mickael Pietrus (Could have had David West)
2004: Andris Biedrins (Could have had Josh Smith, Al Jefferson, JR Smith, Jameer Nelson)
2005: Ike Diogu (Could have had Andrew Bynum, Danny Granger, David Lee)
2006: Patrick O'Bryant (Could have had Rajon Rondo)
2007: Brandan Wright (Could have had Joakim Noah, Marc Gasol, Wilson Chandler, Rudy Fernandez, Rodney Stuckey, Aaron Brooks, Glen Davis)
2007: Marco Belinelli (Could have had Marc Gasol, Wilson Chandler, Rudy Fernandez, Rodney Stuckey, Aaron Brooks, Glen Davis)
2008: Anthony Randolph (Could have had Roy Hibbert, JaVale McGee, Serge Ibaka, DeAndre Jordan)
2009: Stephen Curry (Nailed it!)
2010: Ekpe Udoh (Could have had Greg Monroe, Paul George)
Then the Warriors were purchased.
I know drafting is not an exact science and many teams passed on the players I listed that the Warriors could have had....but look at the list. Look at how many swing and misses we have had with all of our lottery picks. If you look at this list, there were 2, maybe 3, good picks since 1996. That is unacceptable. A child could do eeny meeny minee moe and pick more than 2/3 good players in 18 tries.
Lol y'all are like a broken record keep thinking the heat can't play physical. Y'all remember what happened to the pacers last year. Y'all think the bulls are so damn physical like there the pistons or something. Just like the guy said up earlier. The heat played physical just like the bulls did and get train wrecked and shouldn't handle the pressure Noah's a rich boy that acts tough I wanna see him take a shot at lebron or wade watch Hadley go in their and knock some sense into that rich kid

Stop it, man. Lebron was driving a Hummer to practice on ESPN when he was 17 years old, you were probably too young to watch the documentary over 10 years ago, and your knocking Noah for being privileged?
What are you talking about dude?
Talking about HOFers?!?
I give a damn if they going to the HOF. I care about what they are now.
Nobody is trading the Warriors roster for the Lakers or Celtics rosters
Garnett was the only active All-Star for Boston this season.
Kobe and Dwight were All-stars for the Lakers but nobody is touting MDA for coach of year
Maybe you just started playing and watching Basketball if you think Mark Jackson did a COY worthy job this year.
Yeah he made Curry a greatest shooter
Those great plays were Curry is hitting contested 25 foot 3 pointers
Do you really believe that?
Prisoner of the moment
You're missing the point and its clearly b/c you've probably never dribbled a basketball b
I played PG for 14 years man, the game is a lot more mental than people think. Coach Jackson took Steph and made him believe that he was the best player in the gym regardless of who they're playing against. That's coaching man. That's management at its finest, he lets the boy cook. He took Steph skill set and put it in a system that allows him to be a scorer. And from Steph all the way down the Kent, every player on that team plays hard for Coach Jackson. Every player. Look at the spurs and Pop, look at the celtics and Doc, the bulls and coach Thib. I don't see u making excuses or low balling their successes as coaches.
didnt the warriors skip larry bird too?

Didn't lebron earn that by becoming the best prospect in the nation so his mom got it for me and let them finance the hummer cause they knew what was coming with his career?. Do you know who Noah's parents are homie? Go look it up. Only thing Noah had to worry about growing up was if mommy and daddy were gonna buy him the shows he wanted.

Bulls tried to be overly physical to send a message. Miami responded by being more physical, and better. That's how you get beat by 40.

All them unnecessary whistles didn't help either.
Lmao lebron didn't even have a dad Noah had 2 superstar parents.Lmao Lebrons parents didn't buy that you cornball. Dude definitely had a rougher childhood than Noah.
That's not what I'm saying Noah acts like a bully on the court and acts like he's a tough guy and hates the world. How could dude hate the world while frowning up with two rich parents getting everything he desiredNot choosing either of your sides, but you gotta grow up poor to be a tough guy now?
Just like Noah plays the tough guy role every night? Dude never had to make a hard decision in his life he grew up rich. His parents gave him everything he wanted growing up.Noah didnt grab Lebron, he was reaching for the ball, Lebron knows this he was just playing the "tough guy" card.
Also, Wade throwing the ball at Bellini is the reason I cant stand his ***. Throwing the ball, dude? Really? Dont forget your purse with that floral outfit, clown.

That's what i said it just paralled even more with brolin character being duncan and all three warriors are bardemBasically. The movie itself just had that perfect title to describe the old Spurs team. Has nothing to do with the movie at all.

Nah he had a dad. He just chose not to have him in his life. He knew who he was. Looks just like lebron too
So what now lebron was born at the age 17? What happened to the ages 1-16? Was he given stuff their to? And I'm not saying you gotta grow up poor to be a tough guy. But Noah acts like he's mad at the world when's its impossible for him to hate the world when you grow upNoah is the heart & soul of our squad right now
but what the hell does that have to do with how he grew up
bron was getting $500 throwbacks thrown to him like sweat towels & had a damn hummer when his hs coach was prbly still driving a damn ford focus
what hard decisions has bron made aside form taking the easy way out & joining them team you claim youve been a fan of before "The Decision"
Man this thread
When in actual fact Noah is the fake tough guy.
