Best thing about nba on espn is the instrumentals. the guys are corny but even worse is all the fake laughs. imagine if the tnt crew pretended to laugh at all the dumb **** shaq says like they do with simmons

Did read the majority of the 951 posts since my last login

Quote:
Jason Kidd has not made a 2-point FG since April 7th. That's 15 games.
Smh at Ibaka making the All-NBA 1st team and Marc making the 2nd team.
Lebron just wants more calls because he knows he doesn't weigh as much as these analyst (Jeff van gundy etc) says. Every time they say his weight they add five pounds. " A 6'8 265 pound freight train coming at you!" Actually I thinks at 280 now
Van Gundy keeps saying that he's 6'9" 275 lbs during his broadcasts
KD isn't an allaround player like LBJ....he just needs to focus on scoring the ball, and not being a playmaker

I believe Durant could use his length on defense more and get a few more boards.
Everyone is comparing KD to LeBron in Cleveland, when KD is still playing in a much tougher Western Conference. Those Cleveland teams basically had first round byes with the weak Eastern Conference. The Thunder actually played a talented Houston team in the first round which they beat.
No doubt about that
I feel chris webber should replace simmons

I love webber dude speaks about ball with such enthusiasm it shows he really loves speaking basketball
I like Webber's energy and enthusiam with his commentary.  Makes you enjoy and appreciate the game more.
LBJ would still have took em out, no excuse. LBJ impact is nothing the league has seen before
 Oh reallly?

But those Thunder teams are better then any of the Cavs teams.

"Marc's from Memphis man," Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph said. "Marc's tough. Marc played [high school and AAU ball] with all the guys from the ghetto, from south Memphis to north Memphis. And now he's been around me."

Those close to Paul Pierce believe he will not return to the Boston Celtics next season, according to CSNNE sideline reporter Greg Dickerson – and Pierce might think his days in green are done, as well. "I don't think they will (bring Pierce back)," Dickerson said Sunday on CSNNE. "And I know that the company that Paul Pierce hangs around in, they do not believe – and I don't think Paul Pierce believes – that he is going to be brought back next year at $15 million. I know for a fact that people around Paul Pierce have pretty much resigned themselves to the fact that he's played his final game in a Boston Celtics uniform. Again, Paul wants to stay – obviously for $15 million, but he wants to finish his career in a Celtics uniform.
I always though that Pierce was going to retire as a Celtic

:hat

Conley wasn't trying to prove his doubters wrong. He was trying to prove the people who believed in him right. And Wallace and Hollins had been around long enough to know that was special.

"It's good to try and change people's opinions, but I didn't set out to say, 'I told you so,'" Conley said. "I've just always wanted to try to earn respect."

"Marc's always had my back," Conley said. "When I wanted to say something … well, a few years ago I might not have said it. I'd be like, 'I don't know how to say it to this guy.' And Marc would go, 'Mike feels this way. We need to do this or that.'

"I've gotten out of that shell now, but it's because of the things he helped me say and do then."Gasol smiled when asked how he helped Conley find his voice. "I made sure his message got across," he said.

Remember when I talked about how Memphis had a lot of similarities to the 76-77 Blazers that Lionel Hollins played for? And that Lionel was making this team similar to this one?

My two favorite players :hat :hat

One of the greatest big men duo's of ALL-TIME.

Drummond's gonna be working with Olajuwon this off-season. He's very light on his feet at his size so I would like to think he'll at least be able to build upon that and come back with some decent post moves.

He's going to be what Dwight should have been

I wish TNT had the Finals

That would be lovely.

When it comes to those sports Emmey's I wonder how many time Inside the NBA beat out ESPN. I think PTI beat them one year.

Really hoping for a Grizz/Heat Finals. Sucks KD won't get there especially since his chance was blown when that article comes out and then Russell goes down. Even with Russell them matching up with the Heat was going to be worst than last year.

K mart > mo williams scoring.

D fish > Gibson

Ibaka > Z

Afro guy >Perkins

You're clearly a lebron stan, so this will be the last time I respond to you. Gibson was 10x better at that time then d-fish is now, idk if you saw last nights game where he passed it to the dude on the other team in OT. Varejao>Ibaka(In these playoffs), Z=Perkins theyre both awful. And the way Martin has played in this series is beyond pathetic, even mo had a few good playoff games. And even the cavs bench with daddy delonte was better. KD is getting these guys wide open shots and theyre just not hitting.

Mo=Martin
Gibson>fish
Varejao>Ibaka (these playoffs)
Z=Perk
Cavs bench with gooden and gibson>Thunder bench with fish and anderson.
Oh and offensively Delonte>Sefolosha, defensively not even close with Sefolosha>Delonte.

Durant choked the last 2 games. That's what happened.

Well, at least that's what it was called from 2009-2011.

He ditched Ray's technique after Game 2, that made the Sager segment last night amusing.

During game 1of the Bulls series i was so pissed that Bron was not doing his regular free throw stance, where he spins the ball, and dips low and comes back up and shoots. I noticed that he was standing there and just bending his knees a little bit then shooting. I was thinking to myself, LEBRON WHAT THE ARE YOU DOING SHOOT YOUR FREE THROWS REGULAR!!!! LOL

He was out there looking like he was shooting free throws from nba 2k7 where bron pre free throw taunt took forever before you could shoot. smh

He did. He missed crucial fts that would have won it in regulation then went on to shoot 2-13 in 4th and OT. Granted, they are quadrouple teaming him and his teammates and coach offer no help. But since he is well liked, he'll get a pass. I kind of wish the media would criticize him more, I think it'd push him to work on some of his flaws like being able to be defended by 2guards because he weighs like 17lbs and can't hold his position, ditto Brooks and his horrendous lineups/play calling/game management, but both of those guys get by relatively scott free from criticism because it's easier to blame everything on Westbrook.

Don't even pull it there.... The difference was is that Durant is Trying his hardest to take over the games and he simply has been stopped there ain't no FEAR in that mans heart.

People weren't at Brons Neck because he wasn't making all the shots they were at his neck because on that trash *** team he was deferring to bums.
