unlikely, cheap owners. It's KD's fault Brooks is still here. But some people feel, and this is with no confirmation from Presti or Bennett, that Russ's injury probably insulates Brooks's job and lets him escape any blame, and ditto the Harden trade which was a major fail but they can pass off the blame to the CBA and say they were forced. Same reason I doubt we amnesty Perkins in the offseason. Bennett and his boys aren't about to pay Perk ~14 mil (because I doubt whoever claims him pays him more than 2 mil a yr) to play for somebody else. We would still be over the cap if we did so it doesn't even create any cap space for us, we'll just have the MLE this offseason either way
