Don't know why the Spurs' play would be labeled as "basic basketball" when a lot of teams don't function together as a team. But comments like those show that some sports analysts and commentators truly don't appreciate great team play over superstars.
Despite that he's 6'8" - 6'9" weighing 260-275lbs (Jeff Van Gundy), doesn't make him a legit candidate for NFL quarterback. I am pretty sure the NFL is popular enough without the help of Lebron.

these insiders etc...are stupid....as i posted in an earlier thread, they realize the game isnt about the game and the love of the sport...its on some soap opera, wwe type of steesh and thus creating drama, making shock value statements, stirring/shaking up things is what the new gen wants... It keeps them a job and it draws in revenue/viewership.
And so far its working...you got ppl tuning in to bball games who arent remotely interested in sports, you got folks watching just because the drama hype around a certain team and/or player...
I mean think about look at shows like sportsnation...(even though i admittedly would date rape charissa) her and marcellus wiley arent exactly great sports anaylist, insightful or anything...yet in still its one of bspn most popular shows.
Not to sound elitest, but a true bball fan, a person who enjoys the sport for what it truly is...and not for the wwe...type plots drama etc.. respects and can watch a spurs game...the rest are on some not one of there players is on tmz...no baby mama drama, no cheating scandals...no bad press conference speech or anything else that has absolutely anything to do with what goes on, on the court.
As far as lebron playing football...get real..I find it borderline racist, oh he big he black...you know those black guys is all strong run fast and jump high. sure he could play i mean come on hes black aint he. Thats basically lowkey, on some p.c ish is what they are eluding to. Nothing lebron has done or displayed, indicates he could make a transition to the nfl.
