it also doesnt mean he "sucks"
No one in the NBA "sucks," if you want to go there... but Lin isn't looking like a starting PG on the NBA level this season.  He's already on the bench down the stretch in most close games, and in favor of Toney Douglas, who is... limited, to be kind about it.

lin needs the offense to run through him and to be the primary ballhandler. With harden there, he is simply an off ball player thus he will have average point totals. He only scored 39 pts vs. the Spurs because Harden was injured.

EDIT his avg through 22 games:
11.0 pts 4.1rb 6.1 asst 1.8 stls .8 threes 2.7 TOs .5 blks

I think it's fair to say that all players who have scored 40+ sucks

Tracy Murray, Andre Miller, and Vernon Maxwell are also part of the 50pt club. Heck even Ben Gordon got 45pts.

I think Wilt Chamberlain might have scored 100 before

Some douche who wears 24 for the team in Los Angeles possibly scored 81 too

Just curious, for the folks regurgitating the same ol tired **** his critics make about him, about how he sucks etc... do any of y'all even watch the Rockets games?

Like I said before, it doesn't take long to see he's playing out of his element with the Rockets, esp with Harden. Just simply watch the games. If u've watched most of his games, you'll know he's an instinctive PG - when he plays without thinking, he plays at his best. He's most effective when he's relentlessly attacking and penetrating into the paint without thinking. He doesn't do any of that with the Rockets and won't need to cause they have Harden.

Harden is the better player between the two, but Harden can play well without the ball (evident with KD and Westbrick). Lin CLEARLY plays better with the ball in his hands. Rockets coaching staff should split the ball handling duties and force the defense to to pick their poison between him and Harden, but instead, they just let Harden bring it up every time down the court/run plays while Lin stands in the corner with the defense saggin off of him. Dude's game is not made to stand in the corner all game.

And in defense of Toney D, he's actually playing really well this season, especially with Harden.

If Lin can't do it in Houston, where can he do it, though?  The Rockets aren't overly talented, and if Lin is going to be an effective starting PG on a successful NBA team he's going to have to be able to play well with other talent, guys that are better than him.
