They're gonna hate it there. Wonder whose the lowest/highest paid player on that team too.

Lithuania? Melo about to get killed.

Russ slander aside, dude is one of the top 10 talents in the game. Hope that he figures it out because he's largely getting in his own way at this point. Last year was the product of an organizational decision to play a certain way in order to give the team what they thought was it's best chance of winning. It just let him sink even deeper into some bad habits that he's already had, especially given Brooks style was just iso and take turns for 7 years. These guys also don't seem to be responding to Billy D at all right now.

I wonder how much longer Billy D will have that job... and if they do can him, who they’ll replace him with.

If it was never about the money and about a basketball education, then they’re ok

George Hill gotta be top 10 dumbest ***** alive if he believed Sacramento was going to be competing for the playoffs. Dude was looking like Wesley in Demolition Man for the majority of last season though. Them dye chemicals must have seeped into his brain.

Lavar throwing those kids education and anything they had at a basketball career down the drain.

They're almost afraid to disagree with his actions because they'll have their 1k weekly allowance taken away.

Like I said in the Lavar thread,

I warmed up big time to the idea of Lamelo and Liangelo getting paid to hoop in a **** the NCAA sort of way, but this was my fear. That they'd either stink it up in a really good league / get little playing time, or worse: playing in a terrible league on the other side of the world while prospects in Melo's class rise up the rankings while they play stateside in front of scouts and coaches.

Like is this better for a 16 year old Lamelo than playing at Dorsey, Crenshaw, Fairfax, Westchester or any other city school? (Since LaVar wanted to take melo 'to the hood') Just seems like a big L for Lamelo that's going to alter his path in a major way.

Tf is LaVar doing :smh:

One of the main things that burned me up in this entire fiasco was Lavar being painted as a sort of poster child for what a "good" black father is. As a black father it's just really a slap in the face for us because he's using some negative stereotypes to stay in the limelight and the way I see it he's being made fun of more than anything. Anyways, if this is what they end up I'm not looking forward to what firestorm comes after. He threw away both of their education and tanked their earning potential trying to be the smartest man in the room instead of just toning it down for a bit. :smh:

Anyone know why Lamelo wasn't put in a prep school once he left Chino Hills?

Are there no major prep schools around that area?

This is ridiculous. If Lavar is gonna keep babying these guys, they're not gonna last 2 weeks overseas. Which is awful for their development.
