Funny thing is the Cavs biggest issue was defense and they made trades that did nothing to address that. Hood isn’t a bad defender but Crowder was better. Isiah is horrible defensively so Clarkson was an improvement but not great either. Nance can defend a bit but not locking anyone down. And George Hill an average defender.

Can someone explain to me what in the actual **** was going on in Area 21 last night?

I saw a bunch of @wavycrocket's Worldstar rappers dressed in leotards for some reason prancing around and doing questionable poses.

Nah Bruh I don’t care what the Jazz were thinking or going to do. Hood is a 6’8 shooter that can score in other ways and defend multiple positions. He is the steal in that trade.

He's a great fit for the Cavs. Having him as your #1 or #2 guy though? Jazz were not willing to shell out that money. With the way FA is looking, might be able to get him on a bargain so I agree they likely blew it. Sounds like the relationship was toxic and both parties needed to cut ties though.

IMO, an example of Bron getting "moar help" would've been if they could have got BPG or something like that. A perennial all-star that directly helps go head to head with GSW. What the Cavs did was upgrade their role players, which will definitely help them be a better team than what they were earlier this season, but doesn't put them on the next tier with GSW and HOU.

Completely disagree with that. He was the least perceived to be available. Smallest contract and years of control make him a great asset. Teams just saw Clarkson as a "bad" contract so they didn't want to take him.

Where's the proof that nance was perceived to be the least available?

Hill a steady point guard who's value was the most to a playoff team in need of a dependable point guard. Solid starter

Clarkson the second leading bench scorer to all star Lou Williams on not a bad contract despite the narrative. Borderline starter

Hood a solid young wing scorer and solid shooter. Solid starter

Nance athletic as he is doesn't want to shoot and can't create for others, great in transition. Great bench player

The youngest guy on the front half rookie deal and already a solid rotation player? The main incentive they had to deal him was to get rid of Clarkson's contract. Not really going out on a limb here. The financials and years of contract are equally important as talent for rotation guys who aren't stars.

Financials are definitely a huge factor however I just refuse to believe that factor outweighs the actual skill and production factors

Nance is not a starter on any team I guess that's what makes it difficult to believe "he was the only guy teams wanted"

Considering the factors I already brought up I have doubts about the truth to that claim
