Addict was getting clowned before the season for saying GSW would take a step back in the regular season. Called his 62-win prediction a “hot take” and said he’d be “shocked” if they won fewer than 70.

When Kerr was on Bill Simmons podcast in the summer im pretty sure he said after chasing 73 wins and 3 Finals in a row and all that, the way he worded it was basically saying they were gonna coast. I was expecting the Warriors to pull back the throttle before the year started after listening to him. IIRC the first half of the season Kerr was resting dudes w/o injury or resting dudes after a minor tweak plenty. Ironic this the year they ended up limping into the playoffs though lol.
