Noel has the talent but is very much a headcase + he lacks the work ethic. Brett didn't want him in the locker room, Carlisle pretty much put him in the dog house after signing a one year deal. If he gets his head straight, MAYBE he can redeem himself.

He hasn’t improved a lick since college. I remember being hype when he was coming back from his original injury seeing all the videos of him hitting jumpers and then once he got out there his *** wasn’t even attempting jumpers let alone hitting them. If Rick Carlisle and the Mavs sit you on the bench in a tanking season when they need more young players to build around in the worst way then you know something’s really wrong.

Tanking or not, Rick Carlisle has no time for nonsense. Dude's dog house runs deeeeeeep.Had to be all he could do this year to resist choking out DSJ during some of his bonehead stretches at times this year.
