Calipari getting his Bill Self on right now with all his players looking way better when they leave his system
 SGA was doing this last year. Was our most consistent player. Knox was coasting. Short of putting his foot up his rear, what is Cal gong to do?

He was a factor considering he had the majority of the points by the end of the first half. The rest of the team was a none factor until the 3rd, you callin bull**** lol.

Bruh they were down 22 at the half. Wasn't nobody a factor. Trae didn't have an impact until the last 5 minutes. The rest of the team went on a run with him on the bench. They were down 21 when he checked out in the 3rd. 2 point game by the time he got back on the court

Cal is a great recruiter. Buns as an actual coach.
Nah. He had some amazing tournament runs in 2011 and 2014 with teams that were raw. The improvement they showed over the year was a result of his coaching. Cal does get tight in big game situations. K had those chokes in his early years and even a few times lately.

Trae had 1 good game and 1 above average game. Probably like 4-5 trash ones.

He showed the good and the bad.

His 3pt shot is really what is going to determine what he can be in the league in the end.
I still do not understand their plan for the future.

Kevin Knox :pimp:

Everybody was so hype about MPJ, Knox will probably end up having the better career. I have this feeling MPJ may barely play more than 6-7 years

Because Cal recruits based more on rankings than actual fit or strategy his squads will always have players stuck in certain roles and not fully showing their whole games...He has to throw a different team out there every year so somebody with an offensive skill set might be asked to be more defensive, a playmaker might be just a spot up shooter etc ... Coach K is kinda going thru this right now as well, but he has more of an established system

Nope, they were down 21 because outside of Trae the rest were playomg like bums period. He was the only factor in the first half. It wouldn’t have been a 20+ deficit if they carried their own in the first place.
