Picked this up on black Friday. It's my first NBA since 2k11 
I feel like the ball gets taken off me way too much when dribbling. Is that common this year or am I just careless when dribbling?

I asked one of my friends. He said he received some jerseys from Connection. I haven't done Connection yet. I was focusing to get my two players to 99 overall.
By the way, great job fellow Rough Riders on PS4's 2k Rival weekend.

Did you bump into players? If your ball touches another guy's leg, you lose the ball quickly. Ball control became more sensitive than usually. I always use signature size up moves. They are so useful. In the case if you want to know how to do signature size up moves. Not sure about X-Box controller setup. For PS4, hold R2 (sprint) while flicking the right stick. Try not to hold R2 the whole time.
It's a nightmare for big guys. Gotta be careful when I feed the ball to them at MyPark. :x

I wouldn't miss MyPlayer one bit if they scrapped it. That **** is unbearable to me. Between the silly *** stories, the faulty logic, and the awful CPU AI...I'm good with just playing the franchise mode.

I wouldn't get rid of the mode, just nix the story and definitely improve the CPU AI.

2K Sports has done an admirable job of updating NBA 2K16, with not just the expected consistent roster updates and patches but also content additions that include new uniforms. A few are still missing, with many more including the Christmas jerseys anticipated sometime soon, but the majority of those that have debuted this season are in the game. Today the post-release support extended even beyond that with the addition of an alternate court.
The Golden State Warriors alternate court will now appear when the Hardwood Classics uniforms are selected for home games. The Milwaukee Bucks also have an alternate court this season so there’s hope now that’ll make it in at some point as well. Unlike the uniform additions the new court is not attached to a roster, which means it can be utilized within previously started modes.
If this is any indication, the Bucks' alternate court will make it in as well.

U mean the double-team cheese? How the hell are you still getting it? A lot of people have already said that the cheese is gone in all their game modes since the last few "maintenance updates" since the patch.
From what it sounds like, your game may have actually gotten corrupted somehow which is why the "fixes" are occurring for you

i use to try and avoid playing against the Cavs, Warriors, Thunder then I realized most people that pick those teams play like ****
they're either going to try to turbo and dunk all game or chuck threes. Their offense is easy to predict and their defense is usually none existent
the toughest game i've played so far was against a dude with the Sixers.

I'd say about 80 percent of both teams turnovers were lost in the paint

Once you get gold lockdown defender, gold pick pocket, and max out your defensive attributes, its not hard. The same steal animation triggers pretty much every time you press the CPU ball handler at the top of the key when they just stand there and let the play develop. i think im averaging around 10 right now on HOF 10 min qtrs

Finally starting, 77 rated PG, still struggle w/ my close shots but gon get that up. My defensive IQ still sucks too, Rose was hittin me up late in the 4th last night but I still managed to pull out the W. Averaging like 17ppg, 5asst, 8rb

I got 4 games left in my season and in order to break Mark Eaton's season block record of 456, I would have to average around 8 blocks/gm during those final 4 games.
I'm sure its doable, may have to boost my defensive attributes for 5 games just to be safe.
