i mean the story looks cool. i like the fake agression. i hate how passive they always make your myplayer in these stories. i mean if ya livelyhood is on the line you would be agressive ANY time a mf try to step on ya toes

I think I will be switching over to PC once this generation is over, if I am even still Buying the game.

The mods that are out there for the PC always put the conaole editions to shame

I'm thinking the same thing........but at the same time, it just don't feel right playing a NBA game on PC.

I remember the first time I played NBA Live 2003 on PC when I was younger, and this was back when you couldn't connect the older console controllers to the PC (Gamecube, OG Xbox, PS2 and Dreamcast were the consoles at the time).....so I was playing it with mouse & keyboard and it didn't feel right at all, it just didn't. It isn't like a first-person shooter where playing with mouse & keyboard fits like a glove.

Even if I use my PS4 controller with a future rendition of NBA 2K on the PC, it still wouldn't feel right to me

This story is forced and it shouldn’t be. I just want to take my player from high school to college then the combine. Then have my draft stock be determined by how well I play in the combine. Also my career shouldn’t be a forced story. Your choices should really dictate how your career evolves. Bad chemistry or rapport could be a result of how you answer post game interview question, and definitely need to be a result of your play on court etc.

Regarding gaming pc’s or laptops, what a good choice to go with?

True

At the same time, I would also have to see how video game media is approached in the next console generation. If the next gen PS5 and/or Xbox Scarlet is full-blown digital AND no physical gaming discs at all, then yeah.........PC is a no-brainer.

But if physical discs are still in play for next-gen, I may still be sticking with console..........since I hate keeping an "older rendition" of 2K around my "gaming account" while also playing the new rendition at the same time. Yes, I'm still that dude that likes to "trade physical games" in WHEN I am done with them for good so I can re-coup "some value" back when I get rid of the game.

If I go digital on a game, it is 'cuz I wanna keep playing that game even AFTER I'm done with everything possible with it.

Facts, the nba-live forum always has crazy mods. I have the entire 93-94 season complete with full accurate rosters and everything, there's even an old NBA on NBC score ticker. So dope

They even have a roster and my league editor where you can create players with custom cyber faces, all that. You can basically turn my league into a full featured my career without the extra crap like cutscenes and mycourt. Easily the most fun I've had on 2k this year.

Explain how that works?

So are you playing Myleague or playing MyPlayer?

Basically you run this program at the same time your game is loaded up and enable it. What I did was create an offline MyCareer and I used this to give you every option you have in MyLeague (edit player, trade players, etc. You can use this on any mode as well, not just MyCareer) You can max your player out to whatever you want, bring in custom players to the roster, copy stats and accessories from other players to new players with the click of a button, etc. Tool is VERY powerful. They will have to make a new one for 19 though I assume.

That is amazing man. I know you are enjoying that.

What other mods do you use?

Those were really the only ones, there is a ton more on that forum though. It will keep you busy for months

I need a copy of your roster for PC though, make the switch :nerd:
