Official NBA Draft Lottery/ 2010 NBA Draft Thread Vol. June 24th 7ET

I don't get this move for Hinrich.....#17 pick is nice, but there is now a log-jam at PG....

*unless Gil is moved

I think there is still more wheeling and dealing to be done....

You may see a package of Nick Young, #30, and #35 for the Wizards to secure a top 10-12 selection....

is that what he's labeled after stepping up his game (especially in the last 3 months of the season) and definitely helping us win it all in 2010?

Before you start cracking jokes about Scheyer, don't overlook the fact that he'd be a terrific fit in Utah. He can play both guard positions and can shoot the lights out. I've heard him be compared to Jeff Hornacek, and it's not a bad comparison.

58. Los Angeles Lakers

Brian Zoubek | C | Duke
Zoubek didn't have a huge career at Duke, but he was a terrific rebounder and could give the Lakers some size and toughness in the middle.

I don't think he's on anyone's mock draft board but

All signs definitely seem to be pointed in that direction.

#3 pick, Devin Harris, Yi, and Courtney Lee to Indiana for Danny Granger and #10 pick.

deal is close.

Don't even worry about that. We might not have won it all if it wasn't for his size and offensive rebounding.
EDIT- Lance Thomas has the same chance of getting drafted as I do.

What the helllll?? That's literally 4 possible starters for one. Avery Bradley at #10? I mean really, who the hell is playing point for them if that goes through??

I'd move Danny Granger in a sec.  Dude can get buckets, but he's not someone you build around (far from it)...GREAT deal for the Pacers, if true (COT DAMN STEAL).

Deal is being discussed...

Nets aren't certain on it though.

They've been getting a lot of offers thrown their way for that #3.

The Thunder want Aldrich, right? We're probably taking him anyway, so a deal could be worked out later if the board looks good at 18. I'd take Larry Sanders and Damion James over Aldrich, no question.to get so

I think, or hope, we want Udoh more. I heard Aldrich measured out to be much shorter than originally believed. Hella raw, but as mentioned I like Ryan Richards most out of the center prospects we might have a chance at. Maybe we just take Paul George and make Jeff Green expendable

If I'm the Pacers I take that deal no questions asked and try to hurry up and get it done before they realize it's a mistake.

Then draft Derrick Favors to put next to Roy Hibbert.

If that !%!$ is legit, Larry Bird just committed robbery.

The Chicago Bulls have a deal in place that would move Kirk Hinrich and the 17th pick to the Washington Wizards, freeing up enough cap space to pursue two maximum-salary players onthis summer's free-agent market, sources with knowledge of the Bulls'plans said Thursday.

It wasn't immediately clear what Washington would send to Chicago in the trade.

Thedeal can't be officially consummated until July 8, when the Wizardswill have room under the salary cap to absorb Hinrich's $9 millioncontract without having to send back anything of similar value.

Since it's a good-faith deal for the time being, there remains a chance it could fall apart. But according to one source, the Sacramento Kings are prepared to make a similar deal with the Bulls in the Wizards' stead if that were to happen.

Eitherway, moving Hinrich and the pick would push Chicago's space under thecap from $20 million to more than $30 million. That puts the Bulls onequal footing with the Miami Heat in pursuing not just one but two members of a free-agent class that is expected to include LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Carlos Boozer, Amare Stoudemire and Joe Johnson.

Dear lord.

+1 on the upgrade from Lee to Granger
+1 on getting rid of Yi. (Especially with the PF's in this FA class)
-1 on the loss of Devin ... This deal better not go through unless we are sure that we can get a good point guard back in some sort of deal.
