I played it and almost switched over to Live during that time period. The post moves and some of the layup/dunk animations still did not look great, though. Ball handling was crisp and the defense.

Live 10, and NCAA basketball 10 were as close to 2K as possible in terms of quality sim basketball. Those games were fun minus the layup animations, post up shots, and dunks.

Don't forget that Mike Wang (Beluba) from 2K was with EA the year Live 10 came out. He left because the company had a different vision. But they were on the right track for sure

Going to wait for this game to go down in price before I buy it. That will also be the time I grab a Xbox One. Until then, I'll be on my ps3 playing the last gen version of NBA 2K16

Already preordered it via Playstation Store. Having a lot of fun with last gen Madden so I was like why not grab last gen NBA 2K16, COD Black Ops 3 & maybe WWE 2K16 as well. Still haven't decided if I really want to make that next gen step.
