Why do I feel like I've seen this same debate a couple of times over past 2 years already?
I remember before the start of the 2011-2012 season, NYK fans went wild b/c somebody on this board projected them to go 36-30, and we know how they finished.
It won't be much different this year. 44 wins max, 5th seed at best.

Knicks aint doin jack as long as Amare and Melo are both there dudes are a horrible mix flat out and if Raymond Felton and a bunch 38yr olds is supposed to put them over the top I'm missing something Knicks fans are generally an unrealistic bunch tho

I don't understand at all how ppl can be hopeful and optimistic for the Nets at this point in time. Dudes talking like they did get Dwight

Ok..... you're still saying only two players in the league could have gotten them to the playoffs in the last year and a half Deron's been there. And even then, you're saying a lineup of Jordan Farmer-Anthony Morrow-MarShon Brooks-Kris Humphris-Dwight would have made the playoffs? D-Will did what he could but the thing that makes me much more confident about the Nets and Deron this year is that move to Brooklyn. That move is gonna energize everybody on that team. The energy in the arena for home games is gonna be OKC-like. And on top of that, their starting lineup fits together about as good as any in the whole league. Those two things make me more confident in the Nets than the Knicks, but who knows what'll happen. I personally think the Knicks this year are either gonna be really good and be a top 3 seed in the East OR somebody important will get injured, chemistry will suck and it'll be a disaster.
