For the 997 I already half size down from my usual size that I wear for other sneakers - 8 to 7.5.
Am I crazy for considering buying a 997 in a size 7?

I’ve been going through similar mental gymnastics wondering if I should try an 827 in an 11. The 12 I got of thisisneverthat Tan pair was just uncomfortably large so I sent it back. I can generally find 11s for less than 11.5 irrespective the collaborator when it comes to 827s. Been thinking about it even though I know I should probably only consider 11.5s for the 827.

No. Fits perfect in my opinion - nice and cozy on feet with enough wiggle room for my toes.
But if I force my toes all the way to the front of the toebox I can fit a finger in the heel

Size 7 might fit you, but will be snug if you’re fine with that.

London Bridge 991.5 on feet today. These are much better than prices for them suggest. The colorway similarity to Esplanade seems like they should be part of the same pack.

With how elegantly simplistic these are it makes it infinitely more frustrating that these will be next to impossible to acquire. Although I still maintain they leave a little to be desired for the amount of hype.

Seriously though, the colors are wearable and clean, but they really are not anything special...You are paying for the badge on the back.

I actually posted this a while back when they were teased, but for anyone that is salty after we all eventually strike out on these, don't pay resale and buy these instead. FSR. They were even cheaper with the 20% coupon a while back.

I always assumed 997 fit big, and even looking at them in hand they look HUGE in my size. But on foot my TTS in 997 is pretty snug, I don't think I could get away with .5 down, definitely wouldn't even try a full size. But everyones foot is different and also it depends on the exact colorway...My 997SOB and 997PAK with very snug in TTS, but my Kith UA fit a little big.

NB collabs do make me stretch my head. So many GR’s use special materials yet collabs just put some basic colors on them. Well except the JFG’s, he slapped some leather on them.

But for real though. Companies actually need to put some thought into these collabs.

M992EC aka "Grandpa"

Another very similar colorway is the M992BW (below). The only difference appears to be the N Logo. In the M992EC the N Logo is dark navy with white edges. In the M992BW, the N Logo is Silver 3M with dark blue edges.

Try changing the socks.

Just kidding. I have regular 997 and 997 with the sport sole (but no 997s) and they have required no break-in period. They were comfortable from the get go.
