Yeah my laces are super stained, it’s a real unfortunate thing with this pair. They should have included spare laces with them as that denim bleed is major with them

I copped the brown colorway. They fit half a size big on me, but I prefer a little extra length for sandals.
There's not much wiggle room for me in the toe box area and I have regular width feet if that helps at all.

I definitely like them. Just trying to decide which ones to spend the money on. Steel Blue 1300s are my favorite new balances ever so that whole series I like. Steel Blue 992s are a current grail.

If you have the Steel Blue 1300 you don’t need them in another model, and they are the source material. I’d go for the Paperboys myself. They are on my radar and I’m close to pulling the trigger soon.

Since the 992s are being discontinued, I had to cave and scoop these to put less wear and tear on the grs

Good to know. I just love the colorway on anything. I think I'll skip the steel blue 998s and v2s and go for the paperboys. Then maybe save up for the steel blue 992s. Trying to grab another pair of steel blue 1300s for around retail as a spare.
