And ALD has proven the pre-order method can be successful. As long as product is presented properly, and accurately; with transparency, it will be successful more times than not.

You’d think Nike/JB would have this figured out by now, instead of the same ol cycle they’ve been going with over the past 10-15 years, of make stuff limited, people complain, then make enough to go around, hype dies, back go limited…. This whole black/red 1 thing is a joke if what’s being said is true.

Nah, I get it…. Just going off ALL the classic stuff you’ve been posting as of late is from the olden days, where we paper tagged our pics, and this one is different from how you’ve been posting. That’s all.

Of course it was necessary. It was a simple/easy way to prove you actually had the pair in-hand that you were selling.

Maybe you weren't around, but it was the wild wild west back in the day online and here with cats getting scammed off fake pics and dudes selling things they didn't actually have.

206to813 - I ran into that page when I was looking up the 2002Rs or 1906Rs. That website is so useful and extremely informative.

Curious to know everyone's thoughts. Seeing how the ALD 993s released via pre-order and how the JJJJound 993s released via FCFS (maybe we can throw in the Auralee 990v4s in there too), which release method would you guys much rather prefer to deal with? I think both shoes' releases are on the extreme sides since the ALDs are gonna take 9-12 months to ship while the JJJJounds were seemingly extremely limited.
