i got a grip of them at a karma loop warehouse sale on bromfield street (maybe19 bromfield..?) in Boston mad long ago. dope shoe.. im a big fan of that other 575 as well.. to most, its probably not a "good NB" though

im not sure if/when those are gonna drop...

heres a couple joints.. just some that i really like.. im not looking to 'prove' anything here or hunt forinternet props..im just posting stuff i enjoy and i think some others would as well, just as i did before.--also, im not even expecting any positive feedback,based on the replies regarding my previous posts. whatever, if we enjoy the same wears, enjoy the flicks.

these 999s are dope.. got em as a gift and been wearing them hard..NB J? the 580s drop 9/1/09.. they wear really good. the toebox looks great and ive beat theminto the ground. dope materials..

and im really feeling these 24 k Miro joints...although i have a few, the 1500 is not one of my favorite silhouettes; but, this one in particular is justridiculous.. i love the colorway. i think they will wear nicely too.. only bad thing is they are a size 9..... half size too small for me.. anyone looking totrade a DS US 9.5 for a DS US 9? or anyone lookin to..buy..$..em.....? sorry,

your teal 576's are great! they are a women's colourway right? pretty hard to come by these days. nice stack of alife's too. due to the exchangerate they were too pricey for me to pick up. would have liked either the white or grey pairs though. the miro's are cool too. i waiting for some goodweather so i can wear my pair. all the others are eh to me but thats cuz i don't really feel 575's or 99_'s (except 997/99

Got some black 8507s and great 858s that I love.

Any suggestions for stability type shoes similar to the 858s that come in darker colors or are most of you specialists in the casual ones only?

i can't really offer advice on the current range of athletic type shoes that nb offer. i am only really interested in their older models for casual wear

the 858 was updated to the 859 and the 859 was updated to the 850 which JUST hit stores... the 850 is only out in one color right now though (MR850ST) and itsnot dark at all. the MR858BK is actually still a current style though and that's a black, strong stability shoe. if the 850 series worked for you in termsof stability, i would stick with it or maybe go with the 1011; but, it's only available in one color (MR1011MC) and its a grey-!*% base. both are going tobe for moderate to severe over pronation... they are pretty high on the stability scale. the only shoes with more stability than the 850 series (as far asrunners go) would be the 1011 i mentioned and the 1123...

edit: also, the 587 would be a bit more stable than the 850 as well... the most "runnable" of the strong stability shoes would definitely by the 850series and the 1011.. the others are a bit bulky as far as runners in 2009 go... hope this helps..

the 8507s you said you have are the zip runners correct? those wont be stable at all. that "zip" cushioning is just responsive but neutralcushioning.. almost NB's answer to Nike shox..no stability or motion control in those at all.

Thanks for that amazing post. I went and copped those black 858s online already after weeks of wishing the price would drop some more. The grey ones are greatbut look terrible fast with all the white and light grey accents. I'm guessing it's a safety issue but the bright colors do nothing once they got somedirt on them. They should just make more dark colors and throw on some extra reflectors or something. But that's just me.

I'll probably go check out the running store I got them at for some of those other shoes you mentioned.

The 8507s are zip runners. Needed comfortable black shoes for my old job and they worked pretty good for walking 5-10 miles a day. The Zip tech is like Shoxexcept with less chance of ankle roll.

t21d- no doubt sir, glad it helped out a bit... just as a heads up, the website, www.aperfectdealer.com actually still has some stock in the 2001s in black,i'm not sure of your size though... the 587s are dope though.. i prefer the womens color.. i wear em all the time.

and flint- whats good, sir? the 1224 (which is about to be updated to the 1225 which is way better looking in myopinion) is a stability shoe but as far as being comparable to the 858/859/850 its not quite there... it would be a bit more similar to the 768/769 in terms ofstability... 769 would work for abbbbbout 85% of the population.. just for people who slightly over pronate.. the 1224 will have just a tad bit more stabilitythan the 769... its not quite at the level of the 850 series although they are still stability shoes.. when you get up there with the 587, 1123 and shoes likethat, your dipping into the motion control category... a whole different story there..

^i kept the black laces in my SNS Peter 577's. Looks good with the white. I found them to run a hair small... anyone else? Been thinking about cop'na 2nd pair of SNS Eric 577's since I got my first pair when they dropped.

So the 858/859/850 series is the hardcore stability line? Now I'm a bit worried I might not be able to downgrade to something a bit less.

But then again I did wear the 8507s to the gym and didn't cripple myself so I should be okay. Such a world of difference getting shoes that fit goodthough.

It's a nightmare trying to wear my vulcanized and cup sole skate shoes to walk anywhere now but that's probably just an indicator I need to use my 858sfor running more often and stop being a fatass.

i find the 577's run true to their US size, so im a 10 US in them due to the encap sole. whereas with the 576, i have to take a 9.5, as the C-Cap solemakes them fit slightly bigger

thats what i have found though anyway
