It's just a rumor at this point... one that I do not think will materialize based upon what I have heard from people in the know.
I think the rumor originated from the Grey 990 re-release.
...personally, I am still hoping they come out again. Two pairs isn't enough. I need a third. First pair is already beat into the ground.
