Better to lose now than a lot later in the season,hopefully this helps the team work on improving and not getting complacent.

I rarely...RARELY...take moral victories from this team because the goal is always so much bigger. But I'd rather they get the loss out of the way now just to keep everyone in check. Coaches & players. If there was a game to lose during this tough stretch...we all knew this was it.
Very, very tough to beat Rodgers and the rest of that offense in Lambeau when they're clicking like that.
Just gotta handle business these next four games and they should be fine. Plenty of stuff to work on in time for the playoffs.

When they ran the FG team out there with 2:40 left I knew there was no chance they'd get the ball back. Even though it was 4th & 18 I feel like they had to take a chance and at least try to draw a flag.

Also I think the Pats should've had a gameplan to run the ball more. The Packers' run D is below average and Blount/Bolden looked good tonight but they didn't get enough carries.

IDK man. Going for the conversion or trying to get a flag on 4th & 18 is OD with that much time left and two timeouts.
I think Bill made the right decision. It played out how they wanted it to, but they just couldn't get the stop on 3rd down and that was game.
Agree with you here. Almost as if they panicked by how Rodgers was moving the ball and they played as if they were in a MUCH bigger hole than what it really was.
This coaching staff has a knack of getting themselves into trouble when they start out-thinking simple ****.
Wow...just heard on the postgame show that we're 1-6 in our last 7 games in stadiums that have natural grass fields.
FYI...Arizona's field = natural grass.

the silver lining is that despite them playing pretty much lights out and us not playing our best, part of it was because of them and part of it was us not playing up to our best, we were still very much in it til the end. That nelson TD just before the half was huge. Game would've gone differently had he not scored the TD.
Thought we could've ran the rock a bit more. Blount did some trucking.... Would've liked to see gray get some snaps as well... I don't like vereen running the rock other than him running the ball in shotgun formation... agreed????????
We need chandler back like someone said up above.. we got exposed in pass rush and rodgers knew he'd have some time to throw and by golly, he did
brady wasn't on his A game. but he played well enough for us to win. We need MORE production from our WRs other than lafell and edelman. 'dola was ghost except for his return duties and he didn't do much in that aspect either. We need to get tyms and dobson in the game more often and stop with that inactive crap because it can only help us to stretch the field. Dobson coming up lame was
Edelman should be OK. but the guy is a tough MFer. Kept trying to find ways to loosen up so he could come back in the game and contribute. He was clearly banged up but kept on trucking....
Am i the only one who thought that gronk hauled in that TD???? maybe not or it was inconclusive but totally worth the review. i thought the booth upstairs dropped the ball on that one. Should be an automatic review.
I agree with some of you guys who said this was a moral victory. no doubt. We can and will get better mofo... goddammit. lol.

^^ You gotta give credit to Aaron. Mobile, accurate, and perhaps one of the best this season. I agree about the Offense being 'bleh'. Aaron's leg is a real weapon that most over look. Dude scrambled for positive yardage many times.

I just felt like the odds of forcing a 3 & out were so tiny, minus whale say **** it and go for the end zone. Wouldn't have been any worse of a result if they failed than Gostkowski missing (although to be fair that was pretty surprising that he missed, even from 47, so I'm unfairly using hindsight with that one). But I get why it probably would've been way too stupid/crazy to go for it and I'll probably change my mind when I sober up.

god. that was SUCH a winnable ******* game. pissed we let it get away. outside of the obvious...my two big issues:
1) i honestly think we set ourselves up to lose on our first possession. i know, i know...it was early. but you open with a pass to LaFell for a first down. after that? three straight runs and a punt. totally set us up to play catch up the rest of the game. it's like we got sucked into the whole "you can run on these guys" hype early, but then totally abandoned it. part of the reason being that we got down a couple scores. but that first series...******* stupid play calling to run it three straight times. killed us.
2) that 4th down where we kicked and missed the FG. i'm with JD...we should have went for it. easy to say it now...but we weren't forcing a three and out or even a six and out. should have went for it.
at the end of the day, we're still in good shape. we were due a loss and i'll take a loss @ GB. let's just get focused and win out here so we can hold on to that one seed.

so logan ryan...looks to be a pretty big liability. got ROASTED yesterday and has been getting beat here and there pretty regularly. going to need to find a way to protect him out there or not use him.

@ Miami this year...we always have trouble there
