pats.... handled business as usual
i love how the special teams picked up the slack for the offense and the defense did decent too forcing turnovers and we were still up 14-3 at one point and the offense didn't really do squat at the time. That last minute of the first half was just *facepalm* terrible all around by the team (coaching, offense just running tryna to keep the clock running but hello, miami still had their 3 timeouts-terrible awareness by the coaches, and the defense giving up mike wallace TD to cut the deficit to one
)
josh mcdaniels always finds a way for me to want to strangle him week to week basis
obviously nobody really calls a perfect game but some of his calls were just
and i think sometimes it's more of him holding the offense back than the offense itself. he needs to establish more of a rhythm and go from there. i understand that theres ebb and flow in the game but sometimes its more of that than it should be (mcdaniels)... bring back bill o brien!!!
ironically, when BOB first started out, i wanted him out but then he got better and grew in his role and became heck of an OC i'd have to admit. BOB in my opinion is more logic when it comes to playcalling. idk what's y'all thoughts on that?
it was good to see more of gray in the game. he gave us a boost in the run game. we need to mix it up more between blount/gray. glad we did that so the coaches be like oh yeah maybe we should put jonas more-well yeah no ****.
i like vereen, he's great catching the ball but he shouldn't really run the ball for the most part. only when it's obvious pass play then run it so he has some space to play with and he's not a bruiser and his vision seems to be ehh... that's not his skillset though.
the 2nd half was very good. impressive 3rd... brady was off in the 1st half even though mcdaniels did him and the offense no favor with the playcalling. but his accuracy was was pretty much on the point in the 2nd half. the look off and then go back to gronk for the TD strike was sweet. and of course thomas channeling his inner vick on that 17 yd scramble. he looked nimble and actually had some kind of boost there, for him haha. i think tom is more aware of having to move/scramble by being on top of his toes once the ball is snapped. you could see that.
on to NY Jets.....
