Exactly. It really all starts there when you look at the root issues behind damn near every Pats L in the postseason from '07 until present. Opposing defense dominates our o-line and the offense goes to ****. Unfortunately, as elite as Tom is, he's never really had the ability to completely shrug off constant inside/outside pressure and hits/sacks during the game (for example, Big Ben is GREAT at this). It shakes him up and throws him off his game like pretty much every other regular ol' QB below his standard. So it's important to keep his *** upright and give him options at different levels so he can pick the other guys apart. It's a huge cause of concern since poor O-line play has been one of the biggest factors behind the last few postseason losses.
Josh ain't really helping him or the line out either with those plays that take forever to develop. Dudes try to get too cute sometimes and outsmart everyone.
I ain't predicting anything yet, but our defense & ST this year give me enough confidence that if it gets ugly, I KNOW they have the ability to carry us throughout the game. They've proved it vs. great competition this season.
I'm tired of the slow starts, man.
