Official New York Giants 2013 Off-Season thread: (2014 schedule on page 87)

The NYG have always played better with pressure and when behind. They rarely in the last 10 years have had blow out no problem games. There is always a state of flux.
I don't mind as long as we win but it's killing our hearts

Definitely agree. Last *****-whipping they handed out I remember was a couple of years ago when I watched them in Seattle and they flattened the Seahawks.
Guess I shouldnt be too surprised. But at least they know how to play through adversity.

So the big news today is the Steelers have no hotel to stay at. They couldn't find one and the one they were originally scheduled to be at doesn't have power.

So they said they are driving up from Pittsburgh on Sunday morning to play.

Boy oh boy, if we don't win this game now...

these guys are gonna be on a stuffy bus for 4 hours - a few hrs before game time - gotta kill em.

Last time we played was 2008 in Pittsburgh, won that game and looked pretty good. It's crazy it's been four years since then. Definitely need to get that offense going early though.

Nah, game in Carolina was a laugher (for a change)

those are rare though.

That was a great game. This is a good battle between the two stars of the 04 draft class. What's the deal with no travel on Sat though? C'mon man:{

Quite the situation these two teams are in.

1. Pittsburgh entire normal schedule thrown off - flying, albeit one hour to NY only a handful of hours prior to the game. These guys are creatures of habit - could effect them big time.

2. Giants have had to deal with the storm - moving families, no power, worrying about their livelihood's and their family and team mates. There is no way this was a normal week for them either. Going to be very interesting to see how this one plays out.

3. Kenny Phillips isn't playing, he was scheduled to play on Wednesday when he returned to full practice but he was limited since then. Stevie Brown will continue to fill in.

4. Look to see a lot of 3 safety sets.

Both teams have a lot of injuries and know how big this game is for both. Can't wait to watch, hopefully we come out aggressive and functioning on offense unlike last week.

just cost us 4 points...I'm convinced the nfl needs to give NY a moral
boost....smh
