Hopefully he's not cheating this season. The rest of his career is tainted permanently so he isn't even remotely close to "GOAT status" but he's appreciated.
Probably top 25 all-time.

I see Stafford having a Carson Palmer type career minus the injuries.
He's gonna wash out with us to a decent franchise and actually be productive.
I just think Detroit is cursed.

Found that inspirational speech by Forest Whitaker from the Thursday Night Opener a few weeks back featuring the Broncos vs Chiefs.
I blame Marvin Lewis.
Side note.
Finally got to watch Winston.
Very impressive and Big Ben-esqe. He looks like a player
wow all the people who quoted this withJust become a transgender celebrity then you're allowed to kill pedestrians
Palmer was elite, top 3 when he got this injury though. Next Peyton Manning status. Stafford not at that level. Palmer was never the same after this (he also hurt his shoulder and had some other issues).Saw in the NFCN thread a post and it made me look up the injury.
Carson Palmer's knee goes to shreds on his first pass of his first career playoff game(2005)
The now deceased WR Chris Henry was on the receiving end, a long catch-and-run play for 66 yards.
Things could look up for Carson Palmer all year, which is fair to say. And his revival is cool. I'm waiting for him and his health to get to the playoffs. That's the bottom line.
He completed that pass to Henry, exited the game 1-1 on pass attempts. Returned to the playoffs four years later (2009) and was the first step in Sanchez's road to the AFC Championship Game as a rookie. Oh, and game was in Cincinnati and Palmer was 18 of 36. He was in bad conditions but is that an excuse in 2015 when you haven't been able to get back to the playoffs? Once even?
