When has Vinatieri been discredited though? He deserves to be the 2nd kicker in the HoF imo. People forget that he's still doing it nowadays at 40...
What a career,played with Brady,Peyton and Luck.

i feel like bledsoe was the crank starter and adam was the fuel injection into the tank
Jim Kelly is a HoFer and rightfully so,not his fault that his Bills ran into the buzzsaw that was the NFC in the 80's-mid 90's . Most Pats fans I know have a special place in their heart for Adam being the most cold blooded kicker ever. I'll admit that a few do discredit his contributions a little to further TB's GOAT narrative(I admittedly subscribe to this narrative ) but that's not close to the majority. Dude is a legend.
my jim kelly comment was a jab for his comments on TB12. let's not act like i come in here saying that **** habitually
i have no issue with Kelly and know he was a great QB. "the rings" thing is usually said in jest to **** Chester trolls about with Manning and Marino. i'm not a rings or bust type of guy. i've got Marino in my top 3 despite his empty knuckles.
sorry i hit a nerve going at Jimmy boy like that
I hear you but I also get where heel DSA is coming from though given all the slander aimed at the squad these last few months . Gotta blow off some steam sometime *shrugs*
I think some of yall are overhyped Vinatieri kicks in the Super Bowl, they were in domes, under 50 yards when the game was tied
The crucial kick was his Tuck game kick

Is the mark where he hit the field goal in the snow against the Raiders still in the parking lot next to Gillette? He's made big kicks throughout his career though. Those are the biggest obviously but he's probably the best cold weather kicker ever imo and he's one of the most accuarte ones in NFL history. Dude is 42 and still kicks 50+ yarders with ease,so much so that the league drug tested him last season after a 53 yarderd.
Brady also lost 2 Super Blwls because of last minute fluke plays so that argument goes both ways if you want to hold it
Irvin on that Brian Cushing diet
