Obviously, there's just a massive amount of talking heads out there... (mass media is officially OC) but has anybody listened to any of these and can speak to the content and people well enough to either recommend or usher me away from? Don't have the time to go through them 1-by-1 obviously.

I listen and enjoy the following:
(In no particular order)
CBSSports.com Fantasy Football Today Fantasy Focus Football
Footballguys.com
Around the NFL
NFL: The Dave Dameshek Football Program
ESPN: Fantasy Underground
Move the Sticks with Daniel Jeremiah
NFL Fantasy Live

My personal favorite is the CBS FFT and DDFP. All are a solid listen though especially during work.

Also the old Rich Eisen Show podcasts are greatness. I listen to his show every morning before I podcast it.*

I am surprised no one has taken a shot on Jake Long

Prayers are with Jameis
Man he'll only be starting for maybe two or three regular season games and has a month to get ready for it...he can't be THAT bad I hope

He was arguably one of the worst tackles in football last year (nagging injuries played a part) and he's coming off offseason knee surgery

2-3 games shouldn't be bad tho. If (and that's a big IF) he can return to his pre injury '13 play he could be a solid cheap option

Bill Polian is on ESPN right now saying Eli will get the same contract as Rivers (4 years, $83 mil, $65 mil guaranteed)... Thoughts?

Coughlin said he has played his starters longer than he wanted to and will give them more time next week because of the restrictions and rules of practice now. I knew I wasn't buggin when I was seeing starters play the entire first quarter. Rarely see starters playing this much.

Around the NFL is the best NFL podcast.

I don't really listen to fantasy podcasts so that eliminates most of the list, but I can speak to the others.  ESPN Football Today is terrible and bland, Ross Tucker is personally good but he does tons of ads and his guests suck for such a short podcast, Dave Dameshek is just schtick—I personally don't find him funny so it's not for me.  Daniel Jeremiah is just about the most vanilla podcast possible but okay if you're desperate—he's a scout who likes players that all scouts like and never has anything particularly insightful or unique to say.

Grantland NFL not included, has its flaws but is generally ok.

Bill Simmons w/ Cousin Sal is missed for sure.

Fair. I think Eli balls out this year. Best WR corp he's had in a while, maybe his best ever. He's been lacking weapons. Cruz is back. James Jones is great pick up for a #3 and I think Donnell takes a step forward. Although I'm not sure what kind of shape their O-Line is in. Think it's been rough in recent memory.

zero interest in anything fantasy related for podcasts. want actual substance :lol

Agree 100%

I'll do the fantasy searching on my own

I do zero research. No one actually knows anything. I go with my gut on sleepers. Last year mine was Emmanuel Sanders and I hit along with Benjamin. This year it's Deandre Hopkins. I hope Hard Knocks doesn't ruin that with him getting more exposure than usual.

Pretty crazy how Denard Robinson is now the starting RB for the Jaguars, and looks halfway decent too.

As erratic as Eli has been you'd think 2 rings would be good leverage to get paid more than someone like Rivers. But Eli should know Rodgers money is unreasonable and I don't think the Giants FO would budge on a count of it being common sense.

Cap is going up though.  That's the biggest reason for escalating contracts, though Rodgers' contract was huge when he signed it and is still huge.
