I got an Irving Fryer autograph at a Modell's signing back in the day, surprised he didn't try to swindle me out of my PlayStation games

Jerry Rice* is the Lance Armstrong of receivers. All that stickum got his numbers skewed*

Randy tho. :hat

Every Pats fan I know act's like Moss spent 20 seasons in NE for some reason.  I suspect most of them would have argued Jerry GOAT to this day if Randy never played in Boston. :lol

It usually is Pats fans (and closet Pats fans, we all know who you are) that think this.

:lol

i've only went as far as to say Moss is better than TO. but i think i know the closet fan you're referring to 8o

:lol

damn Brian Mitchell unloading on RG3

* “You need to shut the hell up and start playing football.”

* “You came here to be a football player, not a damn philosopher.”

* I’m 47 years old. What the hell, I’m gonna listen to a little wet-behind-the-ears 24-year-old kid who’s done nothing, nothing to be sitting up here thinking we’re going to listen to him all day? Do your job.”

* “He’s a smart enough young man with enough intelligence to know how to say something the first time.”

* “What I’m seeing right now is a team that’s coddling a young man, which is hurting him in the process.”

* “He does a lot of stupid stuff, and it’s about time he hears it, instead of people kissing his tail all the damn time.”

* “I see this one dude who we talk about every day too damn much because he doesn’t know to shut up and perform.”

What separates Randy Moss and Jerry Rice from one another is work ethic and drive. Oh and route running :lol

Randy Moss with Jerrys drive is a very scary thing to think about. :x

That's what I always think about but nobody had Jerry focus/drive.

He was OCD with Jordan level competitiveness which allowed him to do more with far less natural ability than Moss had.

most talent doesn't equal GOAT

I actually have always agreed with this and often use it when comparing NBA players. Being the greatest is about legacies, accolades, winning and such. Sometimes that doesn't all come with talent. Like Marino for example. Now im torn and finding myself a little bit hypocritical with Moss. It's just there's so many different moving parts on an NFL team needed to win.

At the very least I think Moss is the most talented WR.
