Yo GG @franc @ScottHallWithAPick @Chester McFloppy the rest of the Broncos fans. Broncos kicked their *** up and down the field. Once you get to this point of the season, you gotta win in the trenches and win your match-up. The Patriots got manhandled there for damn near the entire game. Better team won today, without question.
Gostkowski failed, but PLEASE let's not let that be the focus going forward. There's absolutely no guarantee or even a good chance they win in OT if things had gone differently. Pats had plenty of opportunities to score before then and couldn't get *** done. IMO it's a disservice to Denver's defense to make it seem like a damn missed point in the 1st Q was the difference between a W or a L.
Wade Phillips definitely went byke and studied some of those old Rex Ryan and Ravens films vs. Pats. Always said the blueprint to beating New England ain't changed in 10+ years. Load up the middle, get constant pressure on Brady. Make him beat you outside on the numbers.
Ain't 'eem mad, man. Winning a Superbowl is one of the most difficult accomplishments in sports. Too much **** out of your control and need more things to go your way than your opponent. Can't get 'em every year. Good luck to da Sheriff in the big game. Happy to see him have this Elway-like run after everyone counted him out.
Skress free Superbowl on the horizon for me. That's the only positive from today.
Time for this NFC game & Royal Rumble tho'...
