Also, I'm not talking about tanking. Raiders didn't tank... they developed while getting cheap labor. It took time and patience... look how it's working out. The ONLY team to do it like that recently.

Bengals, Steelers, Panthers.

There are plenty of teams that have caught on to the patience.

Speaking if building through rhe draft....... is BB the greatest worst drafting coach of all time?

Who was the last solid draft pick the Patriots had?

malcolm brown, jamie collins

that said, BB has certainly missed on his fair share of draft picks. but i'd say overall, his process works (drafting, signing, etc). he's far from perfect. and i would put plenty of coaches/GM's ahead of him from a talent evaluation standpoint.

The point of cap room and great draft picks is to get players like Von Miller.

No. It's to win...
Von Miller wasn't getting $100 mill when they won, and they built a top of the line defense.
Dolphins got Suh for that much, how well did that turn out? Did they fix their run stopping? How about their corner and free safety play? How is JJ Watt doing pre Brock + Lamar?

I could go on, but I've made my point.

Miller could've been in the market to get $1 more than Justin Houston did, he's likely to reset the market again with his playoff performance.

Teams win with great players. Great players eventually cost.

I think BB is good at evaluating DL & LB, he's terrible when it comes to WR & CB.

Jamie Collins was such a good pick, really versatile player that let's your defense be multiple.

uh.. hell no.

What if all those picks turn out to be bust or average players. (browns are a perfect example)

tanking doesn't really workout that well in the NFL.

The raiders haven't had a winning season since 2002. That's 14 years and still counting man.

They can easily fall short and go 7-9, or 8-8 next season. No guarantee that they've turned the corner yet.

It would be very foolish for the Broncos to blow up their team and start from scratch.

Janoris Jenkins on how he'd like to improve with the Giants: "Just stop being lazy at the end of games or whatever"

I think Arian Foster ends up in Denver back with Kubiak.

Denver has no starting RB also. Makes the most sense.

Montee Ball rolling in his grave RN.

They could very well but things are looking positive cause of the core players are all going into 2nd or 3rd season.

Those three teams have been doing it for years. Add the Packers to that list.

Those teams #1 have a QB, #2 wouldn't give $100 mill to a player while not having a QB.

To boot when it comes to the draft you consistently see these teams draft meat and potatoes before flash. They stick to their system.

No circle back to my original point... Raiders were a team that was always over paying older run down players before reggie mac came in. He stripped everything down, got the QB he wanted all the while getting Mack as well.

There is no guarantee with anything... Raiders being great, Broncos winning anything next year. But probability of building off one guy when I don't have the building blocks and knowing I have no QB or starting RB next year while having the last pick...

I'd do everything I could to set up for long term success.

That's hard to watch
